| 1ObjectivessThis study aims at a general summary of Professor Huang Huang’s academic ideas for classical formulas.It includes two sections which make descriptions from the aspects of theory and clinic respectively.2Methods and Results2.1The theory of Professor Huang Huang’s academic ideas for classical formulasFrom the learning of five years,the books and lecture of Pro.Huang,The first section reviews the origin of Pro.Huang’s academic ideas,which can be divided into three period: initiation,searching and autumn.Pro.Huang is affected by his tutors,enlightened by the major of history,and resonates with kampo medicine in Japan during his study in Japan.At last,he select the classical formulas as his specialty Pro.Huang keeps a sincere attitude when making his study.He pays great attention to the study of history because only based on the background of history can people make right choice from the inherited academic experiences;he also advocates consistency between formula and pattern and says consistency of formula and pattern is the essence of Zhong-jing’s theory and it’s a shortcut to study TCM form the formula pattern and herbal medicine pattern;he thinks the dilemma for TCM’s development is lack of specifications,he suggests that we should begin with the classical formulas when doing study because that’s a relative normative part of TCM as well as that standardization of medical terminologies is necessary,he calls on out nation to review on the clinical diagnosis and treatment technology,and bring up with a set of standards for average people to choose from when they need TCM medical care;during daily clinical work,he thinks the difference between TCM and western medicine is "taking care of the illness of person" and "taking care of the person who is sick",and points out that only when paying attention to "person who is sick" can we inherit and develop the advantages of TCM.The main academic ideas of Pro.Huang Huang embody themselves in two aspects: "theory of formula-pattern consistency" and "theory of classical formula constitution".Professor Huang thinks formula-pattern consistency is the core of treating diseases based on pattern identification."formula pattern" is the reason why the corresponding formula should be used.Formula-pattern consistency is correspondence of formula and pattern.That means the formula should be used only when there are corresponding patterns and vice versa.Pro.Huang thinks the description of ancient formula pattern is not integrated,it is based on natural language,including ancient dialects,and is subjective. We must based on clinical work and emphasize the modern applications of classical formulas to decode the modern formula patterns of classical formulas,and describe them with integrated and normative languages objectively.The theory of formula-pattern consistency of Pro.Huang has three elements "formula-disease-people",formula referrers to classical formulas in Discussion of Cold Damage and Essentials from the Golden Cabinet,the disease here means diseases which can be diagnosed clearly by modern medicine,while people here means individuals which have psychological characteristics,living backgrounds and constitution characteristics.In the theory of formula constitution,Pro.Huang brings up with conceptions of "formula person" and "herbal drug person" creatively,that is to name different constitutions as a certain formula or a certain herbal drug,which makes the application of formulas more accurate and more safety.During his long time clinical practice,professor Huang huang generalizes a set of diagnosing method by classical formulas.He combines the body figure features of different constitutions,pays attention to the instruction meanings of visual examination,inherits and develops the throat diagnosing method by Mr.Zhu Shennong,and makes objective evaluation for pulse examination,also he inherits the thoughts of Zhang Zhongjing and absorbs essences of abdominal diagnosing method from Japan,by combining with his clinical experiences,he creates leg diagnosing method,and summarize the instruction meaning of different symptoms in the legs as well as the specific formulas.2.2Analysis of the clinical cases of Pro.Huang huang.In second section,the clinical cases of Pro.Huang huang in past three years from Jan. 2004 to Nov.2007 has been collected by the method of Statistical induction.It summarizes Pro.Huang’s medication experience of using classical prescriptions,analyses how the classical prescriptions treating common diseases,and also shows Pro.Huang’s feat of treating stubborn diseases by them.According to the comments the ideation has been parsed which embodies the great clinical application value.For the classic formulas,firstly,we analyzed the basic proper using conditions of each formula,such as age,gender,etc.secondly,the relationship between formulas and modern named diseases have been analyzed according to our statistic data of the modern diagnosis of patients who are using formulas and distribution of diseased using the same formula. After frequency statistics of common symptoms of patients using the same formula,the basic identifications and the inner relationship between different symptoms and different diseases have been concluded,and it can be a reference for the syndrome differentiation in clinic.Professor Huang Huang attaches great importance on modifying of classic formulas, he tries his best to make the exquisite correspondence between the formulas and syndromes. It proves by our statistics of the combination of formulas and relevant diseases and the relationship between different formulas and also in the research of herbs modification in practice.The relationship of dosage of herbs,body constitutes and other factors are found by the statistics of the dosage changes in the treatment of different diseases.On the basis of statistics above,we give a hypothesis on the correspondence of formula and syndrome as well as detailed explanations of what constitution should a patient have to take the formula. We tried our best to make it clear,objective and applied.Differentiation analysis has also been done to similar formulas.The last part of this thesis is mainly about therapeutic effect judgment of the application of each formula according to experiences in clinic practicing. We emphasize on nine formulas of Zhang Zhongjing and a formula of Professor Huang(SI WEI JIAN BU TANG) in this part.In the part of processing of commonly encountered disease,I set the index with disease.I formulated the experience of Pro.Huang from four point of view,such as compendium of the disease,frequency and the neatly application of the frequently-used formulas,experience of how to use the formulas and representative case taking.In the part of compendium of the disease,I recapitulated the peculiarity,clinical manifestation of the disease and the characteristic and preponderance of treatment by taking classical formulas. In the part of frequency and the neatly application of the frequently-used formulas,I calculated frequency of the frequently-used formulas and explained the formulas and the herbs which sometimes be used simultaneously with the former formula.In the part of experience of how to use the formulas,I summarized the frequently-used formulas of Pro.Huang during the treatment of each disease and found out the distinctive indication of each formula.In the part of representative case taking,I selected some representative case to reveal how to put the theory into practice.In this part,there are fourteen distinct disease. chronic bronchitis,hypertension,valvular heart disease,chronic gastritis,Chronic viral hepatitis,hepatocirrhosis,irritable bowel syndrome,urinary tract infection,diabetes mellitus,hyperthyroidism,agrypnia,therioma,dysmenorrheal,acne,and recurrent aphthous ulcer are included.Pro.Huang is good at treating stubborn diseases,which have not utility therapeutic tools or has little therapeutic effect with modern medicine.In the part of appendix.we chose 35 cases of stubborn diseases which had significant therapeutic effect and demonstrated special feature of Classic.3ConelusionsFrom rhe research results,the theory of Pro.Huang is displayed viuidly in this part.Professor Huang Huang is an innovative classic formula clinic practitioner.He learns from Zhang Zhongjing,good at both Chinese medicine and western medicine.He inherited the most valuable things in Chinese medical clinic,classic formulas.And also he uses research results of Han formulas done by Japanese for reference,gives explanation of classic formulas and related syndromes with modern medical language.And finally the theory of "the correspondence of formulas and syndromes" with the center view of "formula-disease-person" and the theory of "formula and persons,herbs and persons" are given on the basis of his clinical experiences,primary attempts have been given on the standardization and objectivity of formulas and syndromes.He pays special attention to clinic experiences,and he full of experiences on the treatment of difficult diseases.Its worthy for us to go on with the research based on what he has done. |
