Analysis On Huai NanTzu Based On Somaesthetical Viewpoint

With the diversion of Somaesthetics in the process of cultural modernity as the core and standing on the academic position of the contemporary cultural self-consciousness, the paper takes Huai NanTzu, one of the classics from Han Dynasty of China, as its object of study. Centering on the theme of "body" and adopting the survival "space" and "literary" expression of "body" as the approaches of research, a cultural study of Huai NanTzu is conducted by means of several methodologies like cross-cultural comparison, multi-discipline research, combination of historic and logic methods and cross-certification of literatures and historical relics. As a cultural study, the paper is mainly devoted to exploring the "bodily solicitude", spatial logic and literary dimensions of Huai NanTzu, providing reasonable cultural identity and spatial affiliation for the research of modern Somaesthetics and literature theory, and offering a perspective and strategy for the "bodily criticism" and the "bodily education" for the time being or even in the future and therefore fully bringing into play its disciplinary value for the liberation of human nature. To that end, four correlative contents are planned to be incorporated in the cultural study of the paper.To begin with, the cultural context of Huai NanTzu Somaesthetics is interpreted as the atmosphere and environment where it came into being, aim for the historically qualitative analysis of the classic works. Analysis made in the paper mainly focused on the "paradox" of the political ideals of Liu An, the cultural self-consciousness of Huai NanTzu in the political transition of Han Dynasty and the influence of the geo-culture of the regions on the formation of the ideas stated in Huai NanTzu. In the qualitative analysis of the "Somaesthetics" of Huai NanTzu, it could be clearly seen that "body" had already become the object of power in political discourse. For Liu An the author, the "incompatibility "between the somatization of politics and the naturalization of body had become the cultural drive for the cultivation of both Huai NanTzu and its "Somaesthetics".Secondly, the spatial standpoint, theoretical construction and power discourse theory of Huai NanTzu Somaesthetics are expounded to analyze theprobability and basis for the study of "Somaesthetics" in Huai NanTzu. For that purpose, the Pre-Qin Dynasty "spatial" background of Huai NanTzu is analyzed in this chapter to unfold the analysis on its spatial discourse power and political centripetal force; after that, the construction of the political cosmic space and the identity of body and cosmic space of Huai NanTzu is further analyzed, therefore fully interpreting the root of the political centripetal force of its spatial discourse power; afterwards, its expressions of individual body, space and artistries are explained in the point of view of literary theory, and its literary narrative characteristics of body are analyzed in the point of view of time.Then, the paper goes on to study the Somaesthetics of Huai NanTzu as the stress. After a brief discussion of the "politics" and "space" of "body", its bodily standpoint and Somaesthetics are mainly interpreted form the perspective of the theoretical sources of its bodily standpoint. By means of an analysis of the core content of its Somaesthetics (namely, bodily consciousness, bodily criticism and bodily education), the following standpoints of Huai NanTzu are interpreted in details:outlook on natural body, time and space dimensions of body, restrictions on and transcending of body, bodily behaviors and its arts, literary deliberation of Somaesthetics, bodily behaviors and bodily aesthetics, material dimension and literature of bodily criticism and bodily solicitude (education on returning to natural body and its construction).In conclusion, the contemporary "significance" of the "space" and "body" as stated in Huai NanTzu Somaesthetics are expounded. In this part, the field of vision of study is switched to the level of contemporary context and research values. After a concentrated interpretation on contemporary spatial ethics and body consumptions, a full analysis on the contemporary introspection of the Somaesthetics of Huai NanTzu and the literary and hermeneutic values of its body narratives.
