A Study On Zheng Huai-kui’s Poems And Proses

Zheng Huai-kui(1563-1612) was a typical regional literati, who lived during the Jiajing and Wanli era of Ming dynasty. He Had an ancient literary thought and regional features on his literary collections. This paper aims to explore him and his literary collections in four aspects.The introduction is major on a simple description on classical literature in Ming dynasty,summarizing the present research of current regional literature and describing the necessity of the paper.The first chapter bases on the comprehension of relevant document literature, making an outline excursion of Zheng Huai-kui’s lifetime. According to the literary trend of Ming dynasty and the characteristics of Minnan region,the chapter makes a summary of Zheng Huai-kui’s personality and literature.The next two chapters make a detail analysis on Zheng Huai-kui’s poem and proses respectively,and try to have a more complete master of his literary thought and artistic features.The last chapter shows the oceanity of Zheng Huai-kui’s creation and analyze his distinctions beyond the contemporaneous literaty.
