Exchange rate as the foreign price of the currency of a country is not only a reflection of the international purchasing power of money, but also be the leverage of adjusting the internal balance and external balance, in the open economy, the country’s economy is affected strongly by the exchange rate changes. The RMB has been in an appreciation of the state since the new exchange rate mechanism on21st July,2005, RMB appreciating in a long term will impact the society and economy of China deeply, and affect on the development of various industries in China significantly, and meanwhile impact the new industry-cultural industry hugely. This article is researched about the influence of the RMB appreciation for the culture industry in China.This article contains six chapters including introduction and conclusion, and the introduction is a brief description of the article topic, research meaning, research methods and the innovation. The first chapter is divided into two parts, the first part is the simple comb of the cultural industry produce, definition, classification, characteristics and the development of Sino-foreign cultural industries; The second part is primary introduction of the reason and direction of the exchange rate and exchange rate system. The second chapter is the research about the macroeconomic development affection of RMB appreciation for cultural industry in China. It includes four analysis of the affections, which is the international environment for development of cultural industries, the position and role of cultural industries in the country’s industrial structure adjustment, employment and cultural consumption of the cultural industry, and elicit the RMB appreciation is in favor of the improvement of the international environment for development of cultural industry in China, and in favor of national macroeconomic policies promoting the development of cultural industry, and in flavor of the cultural industry employment, but to some extent inhibited the growth of residents’ cultural consumption. The third chapter is the study of RMB appreciation on China’s foreign trade in culture. According to the particularity of the cultural industry, core and non-core culture products in foreign trade are classified in the research, and concluded that the impact of RMB appreciation is hard to define in core cultural products in import and export trade, the non-core cultural products in import and export trade more harm than good. The forth chapter is research about the affections of RMB appreciation to RMB FDI in core and non-core culture products. It is hard to define the affection of foreign investment into the core culture products under the RMB appreciation situation, and in non-core culture products are the pros and cons of both, but for cultural enterprises in China foreign direct investment is absolutely no one harm. The final chapter is the main conclusion that the impact of RMB appreciation in cultural industry development in China is good than harm, and finally propose several suggestions.
