Modern science advocates truth-seeking and emphasizes on objective evidence; in other words, evidence is the lifeblood of scientific research. According to the new theory of science of science, the rule of related materials and evidence is also one of the core elements of to support for the various disciplines that "scientific paradigm" can be established. The historical research consistently seeks truth, thinking highly of being reasonable. In modern times, some even advocate "Historiography is the study of historical materials". Therefore, historical evidence paradigm, in the framework of "scientific paradigm" of the history of science, also has an important position.Music history, is a multi-disciplinary in combination with history and musicology, its object of the study is mainly musical works that are invisible and difficult to preserve, ancient relevant historical data is extremely difficult to search for textual research. The study of the history of Chinese music of modern scientific, is generally based on the works of Ye Bohe and Wang Guangqi, etc. as a sign of the birth. During nearly a hundred years of the course of development, the object of the study has gradually made clear and continued to expand; many representative and important research results have been emerging; it’s own "Scientific research paradigm" and related "academic community" have been initially established. In the process, relevant historical data collection, collation and the textual research studies have been fully carried out, in particular, the use and deepening of multiple evidence method, which has created a solid foundation of "historical evidence" for the establishment and development of the discipline. From Ye Bohe and Wang Guangqi, etc in the start-up phase, to Yang Yinliu, Li Chunyi, Hu Xiangpeng and other predecessors in the rapid development stage of this discipline, had made an important contribution to the establishment of the "scientific paradigm" for this discipline. Ye Bohe first proposed:music is an art. Yang Yinliu, Li Chunyi, Hu Xiangpeng and other predecessors proposed:in a longitudinal study of the history of music, trying to break the traditional dynastic system, so that it could consider the staging of the history of music in accordance with the continuity and the stage of development of the art of music; in the lateral study of a specific period of time, it was described in accordance with the characteristics of the form of the genres of music art and with the reference of the five categories of folk music. In the establishment of the historical evidence paradigm, based on the multiple evidence method of historian circle, the study of predecessors was combined with the characteristics of their own discipline to continue to deepen and expand. They adhered to the scientific spirit of seeking truth from facts, extensively collected of various types of evidence. They not only made meticulous use of literature material, but also conscious used of music archeology to obtain material evidence, in combination with Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences through in-depth field investigations, made efforts to collect the "living" historical data in the traditional music of various ethnic regions, finally confirmed by the variety of materials. In addition, they complied with the rules of the general history and the characteristics of their own discipline, made organic use of "interdisciplinary combination" of multidisciplinary for the study of multiple evidence method, so that the evidence was to be a solid, sufficient evidence to support the establishment of the historical facts. Finally, they have achieved fruitful results. A number of important foundation works can powerfully reveal the trajectory of the brilliant development of ancient Chinese music culture, also have established a research object for the success of Chinese music history,"scientific paradigm" of discipline (including historical evidence paradigm), and have nurtured the related "academic community".In short, the course of nearly a hundred years of Chinese music history, is a constant process of "Scientization", also a process to establish and improve its "scientific paradigm", including "the historical evidence paradigm". The formation of this paradigm can be realized that relys on the efforts and contributions of a number of senior scholars. This has set a successful example and academic benchmark and left lucrative and excellent academic tradition and academic heritage for the majority of later scholars and subsequent studies.Since the20th century, the modern science has a rapid development towards contemporary history. New historiography and method have began to to flourish that help us to turn ideas and explore new research directions, moreover, also provide a new opportunity to further improve "paradigm of historical evidence" of music history. This paper attempts to draw on certain theories of "Science of Science", combined with the course of development of the rules of evidence on the Eastern and Western philosophy and history. On the results of nearly a hundred years of historical evidence of ancient Chinese music history, especially for the outcome of deepening multiple evidence method, some of the success stories are selected for more in-depth comprehensive study. The paper makes brief analysis of some of the problems of historical evidence on current research of ancient Chinese music history. It further establishes the relevant "academic community" on how to learn from the new theories and methods of contemporary historiography, and boldly put forward some personal views for the academic reference to develop and improve "Historical evidence paradigm" in the study of the ancient history of music.
