The Mengchuang-ci was always remarkable for obscurity and gorgeousness. FromSong dynasty, criticism and praise were parallel and divergence always existed. Thecommendation and criticism obtained by Mengchuang-ci appeared with two differentpoles.The time spent and extent enlarged on the argument of Mengchuang-ci werenever seen ever and before,and there was no one who had so much controversy asWu-Mengchuang.If we deliberate the process of the dissemination and acceptance ofMengchuang-ci,we can draw a curve from the lowest point to the highest in the pastseven hundred years. At the last Southern Song Dynasty,criticism and praise wereparallel.One person as Wu-Mengchuang’ intimate named Yinhuan evaluated high onMengchuang-ci.Yinhuan had written preface for Mengchuang-ci,and he said:”To findthe best poet in the Song Dynasty,only Qinzhen and Mengchuang best.this’s not only Ibut all the people think so.”Yinhuan thought Wu-Mengchuang as the best poet exceptBangyan Zhou,who was a famous poet lived in the Northern Song Dynasty.MaybeYinhuan overstated it,still proved that Mengchuang-ci was welcome.Another poemcritic who younger than Wu-Mengchuang named Yan Zhang said Mengchuang-ci wastoo obscure to understand.One book written by Zhangyan says:” Mengchuang-ci lookslike a gorgeous edifice,once was attack, broke into pieces.” From then the words saidby zhangyan became the prevalent sentence and was used frequently.In Yuan Dynasty and Ming Dynasty, Wu-mengchueng was not well-known as apoet.Maojin arranged Mengchuang-ci and printed it out,named “Mengchuang jia yibing ding gao” In the earlier Qing Dynasty,literati advocated the Northern SongDynasty’s poem.After that the people lived in the Southern of Zhejiang Provincenamed Zhexi poem group made Jiangkui and Zhangyan as the most outstanding poet allover the Poem History,and made Wu-Mengchuang as a poet who studied Jiangkui verywell.At last,Wuzhong poem group and Changzhou poem group affirmed thatWu-Mengchuang was one of the best poet in the Chinese Poem History.
