Study On Mountain Life Culture In Ancient China In Ecological Perspective

Mountain life culture tied closely with the traditional seclusion culture, an important part of the thought and culture of ancient forestry, plays a vital role in traditional Chinese culture. With long history, rich content and unique charm, mountain life culture full of plain ecological ethics thoughts and affection has a far-reaching impact on the traditional culture and history of agriculture and forestry in ancient days. In order to fill up the vacancy in this field on ancient forestry history, it is necessary to explore the mountain life culture to enrich the ideological and cultural connotation of ancient forestry and probe into the practical significance of contemporary ecological civilization construction. In this paper, based on the research of historical literature, and with the aid of classification method and comprehensive multi-disciplinary study of philosophy, aesthetics, literature, painting, and forestry, the author reads25ancient official history as well as some local history and poetry thoroughly, analyzes the information related to seclusion and finally extracts her own opinions. On the basis of case study, the author makes a wide range of research on mountain hermit character Tao, Lin Bu, Zhang Dai and typical mountain seclusion cultural behavior and phenomena from the multi-angle. In addition, with the ecological culture as the starting point, the paper makes a thorough inquiry of traditional ecological ethics thoughts and affection contained in mountain life culture around the relationship between man and nature. In this paper, the author combs the origin, development,thrive and decline of mountain life culture, looks into the cultural background between mountain worship and landscape aesthetics and foundation of ecological philosophy, studies the material conditions of the mountain hermits and examines their academic research, literary and painting, spiritual and cultural life and entertainment, elaborates the simple ecological ethics thoughts and feelings involved in the diet, states the historical value of mountain life culture which includes inheritance and development of ancient ecological ethics and feelings, heritage and promotion of ancient technology of agriculture and forestry as well as culture, discusses the significant influence of the mountain life culture on today’s ecological civilization construction. From the horizon of the traditional humanistic spirit and thinking, mountain life culture is essentially aesthetic culture which pursues individual independence, and it greatly enriches the connotation of the traditional aesthetic culture and promotes its progress. Meanwhile, in the eco-cultural perspective, mountain life culture is a simple ecological culture which worship the harmony between individual and ego, human and society, especially human and nature.
