Mdung-nag Tibetan tribe locate in the northeast edge of the Qinghai-Tibet plateau,the western end of Hexi Corridor in northern region of mdo-la-ring-mo(Qilian Mountains),in the jurisdiction of administrative division of Sunan Yugur Autonomous County,is the most northern Tibetan population in China.here at the boundaries of the inland for Han nationality and the northwest for minorities,are multi-ethnic,multi-cultural exchanges,collision and convergence since ancient times,there are also profound cultural accumulation and abundant ethnological research resources.The strong impact and influence of unique geographical culture and multiculture has formed unique,different styles of traditional tribal culture of the Mdung-nag Tibetan.However,until today,the history and culture of this Tibetan group did not cause the attention of academic circle. We believe that,researching the Tibetan social history and culture is beneficial to expand and deepen the far-rearching significance of diversity in Hexi Tibetan as well as A-mdo Tibetan history and culture.In addition,the thesis makes an attempt to investigate the scene selection and evolution in background of globalization Mdung-nag Tibetan ethnic identity of the reality,in order to provide text field study of a reference to the understanding and reflection of ethnic identity theory and research of "marginal" ethnic group.This paper takes the Mdung-nag Tibetan tribe as the research object,based on full absorption of academic achievement,using literature and the field survey data of history as the basis,from aspects of history,ethnology,sociology research methods.wholly describes and discusses on the history and the culture of Mdung-nag Tibetan tribe,especially the ethnic history,social organization,religion,language,clothing and other aspects of the characteristics and style of Mdung-nag Tibetan do a more systematic analysis and research,on the basis of ethnic identity will bring and develop further views and discussion regarding its "marginal"comparatively the current reality. The full text is divided into seven parts.The first chapter mainly expounds the origins and significance of the topic of this thesis,the related research carried out detailed analysis.and research methods of this paper are briefly described;The second chapter focuses on the history of Mdung-nag Tibetan tribe geographical environment and natural environment;The third chapter writes about the exploration of original resource of Mdung-nag Tibetan tribe historically and evolution of tribal social issues,and hopes to be able to display the complete image of Mdung-nag Tibetan and its historical development;the fourth chapter respectively draw the historical development and organizational society of three Mdung-nag Tibetan tribes,and demonstrates the basic situation and internal cultural landscape of Mdung-nag Tibetan tribes;The fifth chapter focus on the tradition culture,gives a deep meticulous combing to the language, dress,literature and religion;The sixth chapter is the primary consideration on Mdung-nag Tibetan situation,mainly to the Mdung-nag Tibetan "edge" and "edge" cultural characteristics,ethnic identity and other aspects;The seventh chapter narrates the historical difference climate political backgrounds,the geographical,culture "edge" properties,as well as in the "edge"the position of the Mdung-nag Tibetan how to use different resources to build their own subject consciousness and ethnic identity;the last part is the full text of the summary and the summary in the field investigation of rational and emotional cognition as well as the foreign theory and case study based on the reference,and do everthing in one’s power of reflection and response to related issues.
