The Kung fu movies and the wrestling movies are two different types of action movies, the first of which uses martial arts and the other using wrestling. Each of the two types of film has become a genre, but why?:a new kind of film becomes a genre when the audience request it, and it depends on the historical time that this happens, the geographical place where they being made, the audience nessesities and if the people request it or not. If filmmakers constantly make movies related with one type of topic or style, this will become more and more popular, making it a new genre. This thesis "Comparative Analysis between Santo, the silver masked movies and Bruce Lee movies (Analisis Comparativo entre las peliculas del Santo, el enmascarado de plata y las peliculas de Bruce Lee)" compares the Mexican wrestling films of the "Santo; El Enmascarado de Plata""Santo, silver masked" with the kung fu movies of "Bruce Lee" and analyzes their differences and similarities. Furter more, it seeks to explore the possibility of combining styles characteristics in order to develop a new genre of film. This will allow Chinese martial arts films to further develop, and by the other hand give Mexican wrestling film a new and innovative lease on life.Martial arts and wrestling are two different styles of fighting. They have the common purposes of exerce, self-defense, and have gradually developed to include show and sport. They have similarities, but there are also differences, particularly in cinemaography wrestling cannot use the fists, elbows and knees against each other and requires some protective equipment, such as braces, boxing sets, bandages, etc. to protect the body. It also has developed a number of combat rules. Kung Fu initially didn’t have the same develop direction, but was much simpler, but yhay didn’t preclude the use of some protective equipment, Bruce Lee speaking with his student once remarked,"the use of some protective equipment will be useful in the kung fu training".The presence of western style fighting in the Chinese film is quite rare; Chinese directors mostly use foreign boxing fighting versus Chinese kung Fu, This dash of style is usually the focal point of the film, is, however, given the development of the new forms of combat, kung fu’s superiority is no longer a given. Through the study and adaptation of action fighting films from other countries, such as Mexico wrestling films, the Chinese style of fighting related with foreign fighting will be placed in a more international context, and make up for its own inadequacies, enabling the creation of more outstanding works, which will anhace the Chinese film industry’s. Global imagen finally, through; the research of Mexican wrestling film, not only but also will provide valuable insight into how Chinese martial arts films genre can be improved. The early representative of China Kung Fu movies,"Bruce Lee" and the representative of mexican wrestling films "Santo" have similarities and differences rooted in their respective cultural and historical bases. Despite the fact that Bruce Lee’s martial arts have captivated the international audiences they have never been compared with Mexican wrestling movies leaving a noticable paradigmatic void. I, Jossalberto Briceno Saenz believe that from this novel perspective, the information obtained with the research of two diferent genres of movies; make this thesis relevant to our understanding Chinese cinematography.
