Hong Ying is a special feminist writer who interprets great changes of the era from the perspective of female trauma in her novels. Through her writing skill of "standing on the margin", her works not only connect the history, but also focus on the modern. By means of the creation of two typical marginal figures, little Hong Ying and her mother in Daughter of the River and Good Children of the Flowers, Hong Ying steps out of trauma toward self-confession. However, confession is not the ultimate destination of feminist outlook, and her ten full-length novels reveal the development venation and trend of Hong Ying’s female trauma narration, namely, revolution and war——trauma and hunger——confession and dignity——body and "others"——"Mother River" and toleration."Mother River" tolerates any sordid traumas and nourishes all things on earth, in which the significance of female’s dignity, love and hope can be traced and by which she opens her inner space to "others". In Hong Ying’s texts, the newly-found innovation points lie in the body’s "multi-names", female sexual love standpoint of "opposing to be driven out" and reestablishing of "beauty" appreciation of "the Flower of Evil". The female marginal figures and Hong Ying herself as the speaker of female’s inner voice experience reconciliation and compromise of "intermediate zone", and then step into the future as "man in crevice" who stays in the crevice with an open mind.
