Yu Jiaxi is a famous Scientists in modern history of literature.His research based on the tradition of qianjia historical fact and the Textual research of Si Ku Quan Shu Zong Mu,On this basis,he Completes the books of Si Ku Ti Yao Bian Zheng the ancient book style system Bibliography.Yu Jiaxi’s contribution on academic,Has the following several aspects:The summary of the Chinese traditional bibliography theory is one of the most important contributions of Yu Jiaxi’s academic work. In periods of late Qing and Republic of China, Western bibliography theories were introduced to China. Under influence and impact of the western scholarship, the Chinese traditional bibliography theory began its construction in a more systematic way. Conflict and fusion between Chinese and western theories of bibliography made many factions in this field of research. Under this academic background, Yu Jiaxi wrote Mu Lu Xue Fa Wei, in order to summarize the traditional system of bibliorgraphy theory in China, and thus to prove the existing value of traditional bibliography in modern academic systems. In studying sources of Yu Jiaxi’s thought of bibliography, scholars pay more attention to his inheritance of Zhang Xuecheng, but Yu Jiaxi had much criticism about the Zhang Xuecheng’s thought and the theoretical of bibliography. His thoughts on the theory of bibliography, is directly derived from Liu Xiang and Liu Xin with a strong "Liu School" tendency.From the late Qing era to the Republic of china, skepticism has become a major trend in the development of modern academy, in which ancient history and ancient books were widely suspected. Prior to massive discoveries of the buried materials, Yu Jiaxi’s summary of the ancient book style system was mainly based on the literature handed down from ancient times, forming a systematic summary of the style of ancient books in ancient China.Yu Jiaxi’s summary was a correction to the prevailing ancient-skepticism school. By comparing the ideas between Yu Jiaxi and the ancient-skepticism scholars, We find that Yu Jiaxi was just modifying the wrong ideas of ancient-skepticism scholars, but not standing on the opposite side of them.In addition, Yu Jiaxi academic thought, has relatively strong"Han Sung" and "ancient faith" academic tendencies, which causes some adverse effects on his research of the ancient book style system.Si Ku Quan Shu Zong Mu is a summary work of traditonal Chinese acdemic heritage. However, because it was compiled by many authors from different backgrounds in haste, brings forth a lot of mistakes in the work. Thereafter in order to correct these mistakes, Yu Jiaxi wrote Si Ku Ti Yao Bian Zheng to inspect and discriminate carefully for the490articles in Si Ku Quan Shu Zong Mu on their authors/contents/editions and so on, totally more than eight hundred thousand characters.Bian Zheng as an important part in the past research of Zong Mu, its academic value inherently is also worth researching in greater detail. From perspectives of Siku Xue、Historiography, this paper studies on acdemic thoughts in Bian Zheng.Yu Jiaxi is famous as a textual research authority. He respected the methods of Qianjia historical textual criticism of Qing Dynasty, inherited the achievements of textual criticism, and his academic works reflected "Han textual criticism" characteristics. But at the same time, Yu Jiaxi opposed to the textual criticism scholars who had despised the Song learning, reflecting his strong tendency of Song worship. Hu Shi respected Western Scientism, using scientific methods to rearranging the national heritage, and he upheld textual criticism while opposed to neo Confucianism of Song dynasty. But according to Yu Jiaxi, the Chinese knowledge also included the "virtuous knowledge" in addition to the textual criticism.
