Remark: the Book Of Songs will be short for The Songs in this preface.During the forming and interpretation process Book of Songs, the structure together with the text compose the content of works. Sometimes structure itself reflect more significance compare to the text only. In previous study,More focus normally paid to Inheritance, theory, the profound meaning behind the Songs, while ignoring the guiding position of order of arrangement. Base on predecessor study, What in this paper want to elaborate is to explore interpretation of The Songs during the Qin& Han Dynasty from complete new angle. Hope this can benefit the historyresearch of The Songs to some extent.At the very beginning, The Songs are widely been used for all kinds of ceremony, Given the functionality of ceremony in West Zhou Dynasty, we can see, The structure of The Songs is critical to reflect the level and importance of ceremony. To be specifically, accordingdifferent application status of Feng,Xiao Ya,Da Ya,Song in Sacrifice, Feast and Drinking ceremony, we can see that they are playing a different role respectively to different ceremony while the ceremony themselves also have differentimportance to the ancient society. In this sense, the differentstructure of The Song reflect the level of ceremony from lower to higher. The chapter of Guan Ju, Lu Ming,Wenwang,Qing Miao are typical Songs to be used and usually been taken as formal songs in ceremony.Compare to other similar kind of songs, they are always been compiled at very first place in its category due to theimportance.The Songs are used in all kinds of ceremony, however, it not only have symbolicmeanings but also it have language meanings through which The Songs can also have the function of political moralize and spiritual guiding, maintaining the order of Society as well as ethic regulations, From the content of Feng,Xiao Ya,Daya, Song,the sequence of these songs also showing the spiritual moralize evolution from temperament to belief.With the time changes, the function of The Songs also have some changes. In Spring and Autumn period, the symbolic meaning of The Songs in ceremony is fading out, more and more focus are put to content itself. At that time, under the two theory“The Songs VS Political Harmony “、“The Songs VS Moral harmony ”, JIZHA explain The Songs under the principal of political morality while SHIYI interpreter The Songs under the principal of moralization. The structure of The Songs including Feng,Xiao Ya,Song,respectively corresponding to the political harmony and Morality from lower to higher level.During late the Warring States Period, as ancient songs, The Songs is getting lost it’simportant position among upper class, also lost its function of maintaining the royalty and order of society. The Songs almost have no function of songs itself but only left with the text which also not widely been accepted among Confucius and other schools, some of them inherit it, some of them abandon it, even some of them take it as obstacles of county and society development. And during this period of time, the Confucian are the main contributor to inherit and explain The Songs. Among the existliterature nowadays,Confucius Poetics,Xuncius systematically discuss and explain The Songs. Confucius Poetics take The Songs as the carri er of Regime, and it thinks Feng,Xiaoya,Daya,Song from the bottom to top, respectively point to different political moralization, different society ranks, as well as different political virtuality. Confucius Poetics combines The Song with Political Morali zation which gives a new life to The Songs. it takes the “spiritual moralization theory” as basic principal of interpretation which makes it with the support of “natural Law” possible to be the culture authority one more time.Xuncius explain The Songs base on classicalhumanization system. It thinks the Five Classics(Six Classics) are written for understanding rites and songs culture, each Classics bear different function, and all of them take rites and righteousness as final aims. So The Songs as a text, its structure reflect the rites and righteousnessevolv ing from lower to higher level. Different to Spring and Autumn period, apparently Confucius Poetics and Xunfucius have different explanation to The Songs.Both have big impact to thescholar in Han Dynasty when they try to guiding the explanation of The Songs in a way ofroyalty and rites and Righteousness.When it comes to Han Dynasty, the Emperor becomes to center of political moralization, his moral accomplishment and behavior sometimes decide the development of the country, so the Emperor naturally becomes the target of classical education. Then The Songs take its political moralization function again. In LUSHI, it quote history story and combine it with Regime, order of arrangement, the order arrangement of text switch to the logical sequence of politics. It make the order of arrangement beyond the text message itself to become the most critical element when explain The Songs. Consider the importance of order of arrangement, LUSHI pay big attention to the category Feng,Xiaoya,Daya,Song, the importance of four poem like Guanju Luming etc are taken as starting poem of each category and Guanju is taken as starting poem of The Songs. This order of arrangement, reflect general perception of Lushi to The Songs, but it also limit the detail explanation of dedicate poem.A significant phenomenon of politics in Han Dynasty is that the Harem interventions, as response, MAOSHI expand the education target from Emperor to the wives of him. Different compare to previous “observe politics through Poem”, MAOSHI thinks The Songs is theguidance of reality society, while the order arrangement of The Songs already reflect the political society, it is sth like political moralization: from the Chapter stand of point, Guanju is beginning of decency;while from category stand of point, ERNAN is corner stone of Royalty”, from category of Poem,Feng is beginning of national affairs, from ancient works stand point, Feng,Xiaoya,Daya,Song is starting point of political reality in all le vel.Preface of Maoshi explain the meaning of “SHI” in details, from the chapter to the text, make the structure respectively correspond to the order of arrangement. To poems belong to same category. MAOSHI makes The Songs experience the differentstage of a regime。As to the sequence of poems, MAOSHI also gives the political logical relations within it. E.g. poems in ERNAN have logical sequence and relations, meantime, likewise MAOSHI LUSHI pave the way of historical background of poem creation.MAOSHI put historical and logical importance to the order or arrangement of The Songs, to the explanation of dedicated poem, The Songs is seamless continuity in terms of integrity, category, chapterarrangement. At the same time, the chapter arrangement also affect the explanation of The Songs: from the theme of the poem and the theme of chapters, even to specific characters. Because of this, the interpretationof MAOSHI to The Songs have logicality and historiccharacteristic, so that it is considered to be the idea political template, and achieve higher authority than Royalty in culture domain, it forms the basic model that traditional society explains The Songs.
