Language ideology of Uyghur is regarded as the research object in the paper, due to a wide range of language contact and national contact, a growing number of Uyghurs became the "bilingual",so according to Uyghur’s knowledge of mother language and national common language,we study the characteristics of Uyghur’s language ideology,and Uyghurs are entering the process of the modernization, constantly changing the understanding of the mother language、national common language and bilingualism, to adapt to the modern language ideology.We mainly introduce the study origin, meaning, previous study, research method and academic value in the preface.We introduce the language ideology definition, research scope, the formation characteristics in the first chapter.compared with the language world view, language ideology, language attitude, we retrospect the history of language ideology, and introduce three main language ideologies which include language identity theory, theory of language resources, and language human rights theory.We describe the Uyghur understanding of mother language in the second chapter.According to the Uyghur mother language useage in the field of family, school, work areas and other public,we concludes Uyghur gives priority to using mother language to communicate in the field of family;compared with the proportion of mother language in class, Uyghur uses mother language which is higer after class;Uyghur mainly uses mother language and bilingual(mother language、national common language)in In the field of work areas and other public, Uighur’s mother language attitude is that on the basis of the identity of mother language,they maintain the social influence of native language and consolidate the use of mother tongue.We describe the Uyghur understanding of national common language in the third chapter, According to the Uyghur national common language useage in the field of family, school, work areas and other public,we concludes Uyghur mainly does not use national common language; compared with the proportion of national common language in class, Uyghur uses national common language which is lower after class; and mainly uses mother language and bilingual(mother Language、national common language)in In the field of work areas and other public; Uighur’s national common language attitude is that they study national common language,agree with national common language’s social influence and maintain the use of national common language.We summarize the characteristics of Uyghur understanding language in the fourth chapter. On the basis of describing Uyghur understanding of mother language and national common language,we think Uyghur understanding of these two languages which has the following characteristics,identify and inherit mother language,approve and learn national common language,recognize and accept“mastery of minority language and Chinese”.Because mother language is a tool for Uyghur communicating and thinking,the symbol of their national identity and national cultural heritage resources; national common language is Uyghur cross-cultural communication and national development resources.We think Uyghur how to achieve“mastery of minority language and Chinese”in the fifth chapter. The goal of Xinjiang minority bilingual education is to cultivate minority nationality to be“mastery of minority language and Chinese”,because“mastery of minority language and Chinese”has the advantages of improving Uyghur ethnic education quality,enhancing cross-cultural understanding and adapting to social development. the way of achieving“mastery of minority language and Chinese ” is to implement bilingual education,but Xinjiang bilingual resources distribution is unbalanced and short of bilingual teachers, we should adjust measures to local conditions, and steadily promote bilingual education.
