“HuangTu painting faction” is one of the most representative of the contemporary “painting faction” in Shaanxi Province. It has a huge influence after “Chang’an painting faction” across the country. In the Art road of creation deeply in life, the performance of the people, “HuangTu painting faction” insists on carrying forward the culture, embodies the spirit of the Loess. On the basis of inheriting the traditional painting techniques, it is advocated to absorb all the excellent art of the world. It is inclusive and absorbing and creating of "loess style", keeping up with the pace of society development. The realistic works reflect the spirit of the times and it is nationwide large-scale and continuous development of the "school" of contemporary painting.This article is the comprehensive study of “HuangTu painting faction”. Proceeding from the evolution of Fine Arts of the 20 th century and the background of the development of Chinese realistic painting, the part one analyzes the Northwest natural and human environmental, artistic practice Chang’an Painting School and Yan’an Revolutionary Literature Study influenced by the “HuangTu painting faction”. It studied the form of the west western style of Liu Wenxi, and the process of the group style formation of a group of painters impacted by it. The second part analyzes The road to the art of life of the “HuangTu painting faction”. It expounds the intervention life, perception of life, refined life, and finding the true, the good and the beautiful artistic elements in the life by sketching Caifeng. The artistic characteristics of the third part of “HuangTu painting faction” finds that it pays attention to the inheritance of Chinese traditional painting, advocates to learn the essence of the outstanding art in the world, absorbing, good attitude to art, and “HuangTu painting faction” insist on realism creating road advocated the “familiar, strict style, pen and ink and the innovation”. The fourth part analysis the theme、the creation guide and the ideas for analysis of the “HuangTu painting faction”. It studies the aesthetic characteristics of HuangTu culture embodied in the artistic creation, which is based on the humanistic style of the Loess land. It concludes that the “HuangTu painting faction” promotes the social theme of artistic pursuit and makes it representation of the contemporary art in the field of positive energy. It reflects that the literary and artistic works reflect the social development, the trend of the times and the progress of the positive role in the development of socialism Reflected in the social mainstream ideology.The procedure of “HuangTu painting faction”from the infancy to the finally formed which can be seen as the one of a important developing direction of the Chinese painting in particular. The conception,technique,aesthetic and pursuit of the art of “HuangTu painting faction” revealing development process of the creations of Chinese Painting and aesthetic concept,the direction of diverse artistic exploration which is ongoing is offering ample possibility for the future development of Chinese Painting. Although there are disputes on the research of the “painting faction”,especially for the understanding of the contemporary “painting faction”,but the existence of “HuangTu painting faction” is the plain truth. Doing a objective and dynamic research about it is a important constituent part of the research about the development of Contemporary Painting. Therefore,the author breaks the previous school member’s individual painting achievement and mainly discusses and highlights the concept of “group”, aimed to explore “HuangTu painting faction” which is influenced by Liu Wenxi and the overall artistic style in the process of development. lay a foundation for further research.
