Wars during the period from the late Yuan to the early Ming caused social chaos and economy declined in the Central Plains. After the formal unification of China, in order to consolidate their domination, rulers adopted effective measures to rebuilt the Central Plains. Under such a circumstance, writers fluid to the Central Plains. From the literary point of view, the fluid writers had a significant impact on the pattern of literary and cultural development in Central Plains. So, this thesis based on writers’ works and aims to give them an objective evaluation in the history of literature.This paper is divided into five chapters. The opening chapter gives a brief Introduction of historical background of Central Plains in Early Ming Dynasty. Before West Jin Dynasty, the Central Plains region was center of district in politics, economy and culture. But three wars such as "An-shi Rebellion" caused economic and cultural center southward. As the economic center of gravity moved to southern area, successive wars and political corruptions had already hindered the healthy development of the Central Plains region. Until Early Ming Dynasty, the Central Plains region almost in ruins.The second chapter Bases on the overall research of the Writers fluid to the Central Plains. This chapter uses a form which names "Basic information of Writers fluid to the Central Plains in Early Ming Dynasty "for more directly study. This form bases on some essential information, such as where did the fluid writers came from, when did they fluid to the Central Plains region, and what did they wrote during this period etc. This chapter lays the foundation for subsequent research work.The third chapter deals with the fluid writers’ contact with people in the Central Plains region. According to the fluid writers’ tracks, they had two reasons fluid to the Central Plains region. One is the political choice, and the other is the social choice. So the fluid writers mainly came from two regions, Central authority in Nanjing and literature communities in hometown. This part will focus on typical case and try to find out The Influence of the Intercourse on the Literature.The fourth chapter makes a comprehensive evaluation of fluid writers’ literary creation and artistic techniques. During this period, fluid writers created a lot of literary works. This chapter based on texts study, concerning with this important literary phenomenon. Contents can be summarized as expressed personal depression, or concerned about national politics, history etc. Because in different environments, their literary style changed to some extent. The fluid writers’writing style affected by Northern Literature, and the literary trends in end of the Yuan Dynasty.The last chapter discusses the fluid writers’significance in literature. The first, their efforts in local Confucianism education enhance the cultural and educational level of the the Central Plains region. In Early Ming Dynasty, the Central Plains region almost in ruins, especially in culture and education. Under the policy of the rulers, the fluid writers relied on their ability actively promoted enlightenment, made some achievements. Secondly, the fluid writers’ literary Events promoted the development of literature in Central Plains. Writers fluid to the Central Plains and they had a significant impact on the pattern of literary and cultural development in Central Plains, such as they led to the recovery of Northern Literature.In conclusion, the thesis sums up the historical impact and literature influence of fluid writers. Research on the Writers fluid to the Central Plains in Early Ming Dynasty, has always been inseparable from the definition of South-North Problem. However, this issue is a problem left over from history. Although rulers in Early Ming Dynasty had taken many effective measures, the problem still existed and continued the whole time, and this question is worthy of deep thinking.The thesis contains two appendices. One is a Form which names "Basic information of Writers fluid to the Central Plains in Early Ming Dynasty ", this form bases on some essential information, such as where did the fluid writers came from, when did they fluid to the Central Plains region, and what did they wrote during this period etc. The other is a Chronicle of fluid writers which gives a detailed description of their fluid experience, each fluid writer has a biography.
