| Learning is a bascial and indispensable skill to survive, also the powerful engine and base for an institution to create excellent achievements, a party to boost, and a people to strive to be strong. During the17th Fourth Plenary Session of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), it’s stated clearly that Building Marxism Studying Party an important and urgent task with strategical signifcance, and should be highly concentrated on and completed successfuly. In fact, learning is the natural and honorable quality of the Marxism Party. Ever since the1940s when Marx and Engels created Maxist theory, the developing and practical exploring of learning never end among the Marxism Party. Especially, the concentration on Building Learing Party began with the foundation of the CCP. Sinicization of Marxism and the developing progress of the Party, to some extent, mean the growth of the Marxism Learning Party. As construction is the key point, it’s worthy to refine and to sum systemically the experience of building a learning party, which not only is theoretically valuable and helps to learn the mystery of how to be an advanced party eternally, but also is applicable and meaningful in enhancing self-consciousness while building the Marxism Learning Party under new conditions.Theory is the forerunner of action, advanced learning ideas decide an insightful, overall, forceful and powerful construction. Therefore, the evolution of the concept of Building Marxism Learning Party was reviewed, firstly, considering combining learning and the party construction. To begin with Marx, Engels and Lenin gave their contrbution to the generating of this concept, which supported the CCP’s idea of building the party theoretically, initial formation when Mao Zedong and other memberships of the first generation of leadship benifitted from traditional learning thoughts according to those classical writers’ learning theories, and put learning at a dominant position in the party building to act as a guide and to advance the construction in all aspects. With the changing of time and environment, learning deepened among the party, perfecting the development of the concept. Finally, for more than90years, with the guide of the scientific learning theory, the CCP has made full use of all the chances and applied various methods to learn, in consequence, speeding the overall construction of the learning party.Secondly, how to build a learning party? With this topic, the construction was taken as a holistic and systemic project, and the aim, principles, atmosphere, methods, platform of learning were explored and refined to learn from Building Marxism Learning Party. First,"being advanced and improving the leadership" should be kept as the eternal theme of party construction, and the memberships learn to guard their spiritual homeland, to unify thoughts, to improve ability the objective, and held the Marxism Learning Party the direction. Second, during the development of Marxism Learning Party, the leading system construction in learning needs to be enhanced all the time to form strict and scientific training system. Supervision and inspection, examination and test, reward and punishment, etc. can be approaches used to promote learning, to make sure learning a common and consistent activity, and to gurantee a smooth construction. Third, to establish actively a learning atmosphere which excites every party member and helps forming a deep emotion of learning among them by using direction of public opinion, demonstration, and democracy within party, etc.. Forth, party members’and party branches’ efforts finally account for the whole party’s group learning. Party members should be the main participants in learning, and the basic-level organizations the main base, which promises a holistic and sustainable learning. Fifth, true carrier are essential, books, newspapers, magazines and network, containing theories and knowledge, are sources to be collected to serve as various learning platforms to promote learning. |
