This chapter summarized the uniqueness of the Lu Chuan ethnic policy. The emphasis of its policy varied under different rulers in different periods. From the first Ming emperor Zhu Yuan Zhang to the Zheng Tong emperor, the numbers of the Dai toast had increased because of the development of the politics, economy and culture. The Ming dynasty operated some policies in Lu Chuan area changed this region’s situation and the Ming Dynasty had to adjust their policies. So the early term and the mid term policy are very different. The innovation of this doctoral dissertation is the combination of people, events and policies by specific historical figures and events. The Ming rulers such as Zhu Yuan Zhang, Zhu Di and the events "the collapse of Lu Chuan territory" and "the three expeditions to Lu Chuan" show Lu Chuan Si Shi regime ethnic policy in Ming Dynasty, reflecting the impact of people and events on the policies. In the course of contacts with the central government, the victory or failure of Lu Chuan regime, the expedition or pacification of the central government, were the ways of their communication. They contacted and understood with each other, which also was the integration process between the frontier and the central government. We should correctly view the pros and cons of Lu Chuan ethnic policy in Ming Dynasty from a historical dimension. Because on the one hand, it had positive and negative impacts on both Ming Dynasty and the Lu Chuan, on the other, it also gradually increased the centripetal force of the Lu Chuan Dai area towards the central government, which enhanced the cohesion of the Chinese nation. Conclusion:There are four viewpoints as follows,First, Lu Chuan’s geographic advantage is an important reason for the establishment of early western Yunnan Dai regime. Second, the policy of "the collapse of Lu Chuan territory" embodies the divide and rule in ethnic areas. Third, the course of practicing the policy of "the three expeditions to Lu Chuan" is from placating to killing, from weak to strong. Forth, Lu Chuan ethnic policy in Ming Dynasty is the epitome of dealing with ethnic relationships in south china.
