Research On The Party’s Ideological And Political Education Work During The Yan’an Period

Yan’an period refers to Communist Party of China being in regional power for 13 years from October 19,1935, the central Red Army had reached northern Shanxi after the Long March, until March 23,1948 the party central committee led the People Lieration Army in Wubu county of northern Shanxi crossed the Yellow River. This period is an important turning point in the communist revolution and the period of exploring the comprehensive governing road and experience. The research of this period of history and experience, occupies an extremely important position in the history of the Communist Party of China. In Yan’an period, the Communist Party of China starting from the late of the Agrarian Revolutionary War, the Anti-Japanese National War, the nation through the People’s War of Liberation, the party’s ideological and political education work as an important part of revolutionary work, to implement the party’s political line, complete the party’s central task played a very important role. The achievements and experiences of ideological and political education work in Yan’an period, has left the precious wealth in the party’s ideological and political education work history. However, the academics’research about the party’s ideological and political work during the period of Yan’an history are mostly limited to the party history research perspective. Independent and systematic study of the ideological and political education work, especially the deep digging and explanation of its contemporary value is also very rare. Because of this, the systematic and comprehensive research on the ideological and political work of the Communist Party in Yan’an period has become the urgent task in the new period, to inherit and carry forward the revolutionary tradition and to be full of vigor and vitality of ideological and political work.This paper systematically and comprehensively studied the background, the central task, content, principle, method, object, system and mechanism, etc. of the party’s ideological and political education work in Yan’an period, which has constructed a relatively complete theoretical system of the party’s ideological and political education work during the Yan’an period. From the perspective of system and mechanism construction, it interprets the experience and the characteristics of the civil-military systems construction of ideological and political education work during the Yan’an period and puts forward the research assumption of the operation mechanism of the party’s ideological and political education work. Through the historical review and the systemic pectination research on the party’s ideological and political work in Yan’an period, refines a series of principles such as the army political work "three principles", the mass line and the attention actual effect, etc. and some methods such as concerned about the mass benefit, criticism and self-criticism, spiritual motivation, etc. It reveals the prominent features of the party’s ideological and political education work, which is based on the ideological and theoretical innovation as the core. To summarize the party’s ideological and political education work experience in Yan’an period into six aspects: from the point of view of the interests of most people, pay attention to and effectively play the role of ideological and political education work, the party’s central work always being the core of education, give full play to the role of the cadres, continue to innovate, the party building and the military construction as the main point, etc. On this basis, combining with the current situation, it puts forward the contemporary value and enlightenment of the glorious tradition of ideological and political education in Yan’an period, which has great era value and significance for the profound understanding the regularity of ideological and political education, improving and strengthening the ideological and political education, especially for the party to strengthen the education on the core values of socialism under the new situation, sticking to the mass line and making an issue of governing the country in the new period.
