During the Agrarian Revolutionary War, the Communist Party of China started leading the Chinese democratic revolution independently, creating a democratic revolutionary road with Chinese characteristics in this critical period of time. Meanwhile it gradually explored successful ways for ideological and political education during revolutionary struggle. Judging from its guiding function and stimulation, ideological and political education during the war has not only guaranteed the smoothness of the Agrarian Revolutionary War, but also built strong foundation for armed struggle, uniting the broadest revolutionary allied forces and propelling the development of democratic revolution led by the CPC. The success of the CPC’s ideological and political education work during the Agrarian Revolutionary War makes a great and indelible contribution to the development of Marxist theory in China, the spread of revolutionary struggle and the final victory of the Chinese democratic revolution. It has great significance to promote the ideological and political education work by systematically classifying the work, analyzing its specific development conditions under complex environment and summarizing basic experience and laws under such environment.The introduction of this thesis emphasizes on the research background, its significance, its status and points of innovation, etc. In the second part, the author elaborates on the background of developing the ideological and political education work during the Agrarian Revolutionary War, including the deepening national and social crisis, the crisis of party building and the necessity of strengthening ideological and political education under crisis. In the third part, the author systematically summarizes and analyzes the ideological and political education developed by the CPC and the experience drawn from this process during the Agrarian Revolutionary War, including putting education in communism among different social classes as the main line of ideological and political education, adjusting the policy of CPC’s theoretic political education according to task of revolution, conducting ideological and political education on the premise of strengthening the education of party cadres, caring about the material benefits for the masses to guarantee the smoothness of ideological and political education and adopting various methods of ideological and political education to stimulate revolutionary zeal of the educated. In the fourth part, the author summarizes the inspiration for ideological and political education in the contemporary era drawn from the experience of successful ideological and political education of CPC during the Agrarian Revolutionary War, including developing ideological and political education in keeping with the time, putting the focal points of ideological and political education in keeping with the main task of the party at present stage and emphasizing on the humanistic care and stratified methods and arts of ideological and political education.
