Study On The Harmonious Development Of Ethnic Relations In Ningxia

Since twentieth century,ethnic problems have become the major issues affecting the progress of human civilization throughout the history of the world,and how to handle the relationship between ethnic groups has become the world problem under the background of economic globalization.The Communist Party of China attached great importance to solve the problems of nationalities since the establishment.In the process Chinese revolution and socialist construction,The Communist Party of China combines Marx’s ethnic theory and Chinese specific conditions,innovation and enriched the Marx’s national theory,formulate and implement the correct national policy,and promote the unity and progress of all ethnic groups,to promote the vigorous development of the Communist Party and the people’s cause of China.It is because of the practice of regional autonomy of minority nationalities in the new China,The Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region became the only Hui Autonomous areas.and become a window displaying the ethnic relationship and the ethnic policy of new China. The sixth national population census of the People’s Republic of China,the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region has a population of Muslim population of2190000,accounted for34.77%of the total population of Ningxia,and accounting for nearly1/5of the Hui population.Ningxia is the country’s largest settlements of Hui nationality and is called "Chinese Muslim province" by foreign.In the long history of development, Ningxia Hui not only has created the precious cultural heritage,and formed the unique Hui nationality culture, but also has a strong tradition of patriotism and the ability to resist external penetration.Ningxia Hui and the people of all ethnic groups work together to create a peaceable,unified,and friendly harmonious scene.Taking this as the starting point of research, the author makes investigation on ethnic relations in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region by the method of field survey, based on the relevant documents and data.analyses and researches these data,and puts objective understanding,evaluation and strategic thinking for the harmonious development of ethnic relations in Ningxia.The fieldwork points are the Huinong district Riverside street of Shizuishan City,the University of Yinchuan,Hongsipu area of Wuzhong city and Xinglong town in Xiji county of Guyuan city.The thesis introduction fully explain the background,The significance of the research, the domestic scholar research situation, basic concepts, research methods and ideas, research focus, research innovation,the lack and prospects of the research. The first chapter expounds the basic theory of harmonious ethnic relations development of the domestic and foreign.This paper analyzes Marx, Engels’s theory of national relationship,the ethnic relations theory and the problems existed in practice of the former Soviet Union, the ethnic relations theory of USA,and development skeleton of Chinese ethnic relations theory.These theories provide a theoretical basis for the research of this thesis.The second chapter describes the foundation of the harmonious development of ethnic relations in Ningxia.Have introduced the characteristics of geographical environment of Ningxia,history of administrative region,the origin and population distribution of Hui and Han nationality in Ningxia,and Representation the historical memory of the development process of Ningxia ethnic relations.The third chapter review the history of the national relations harmonious development in Ningxia since the new China was established.Described in this paper the Ningxia ethnic relations from the initial establishment, tortuous development, serious damage, recovery and development, now forming the best state in the history.The fourth chapter explain the current situation of the harmonious development of ethnic relations in Ningxia through field investigation method,and analysis the factors affecting the national relation.The fifth chapter summarizes the characteristics of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region ethnic relations,analyses of the basic experience and the main problems of the Ningxia harmonious ethnic relations.The sixth chapter put forward the strategic countermeasures of harmonious ethnic relations of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.With a view to other ethnic social stability and national unity, consistent provide constructive suggestions on the future development of globalization.
