Minority Areas Village Harmonious Ethnic Relations Research

Turpan Prefecture is a Uighur-based multi-ethnic neighborhoods.Since the ancient time, Turpan is not only an important strategic town of the ancient Silk Road but also political, economic and cultural center of Western Region.Today,the majority of minority nationalities population is Uighurs which accounts for77.9%, Han Chinese account for22.1%,while other ethnic minorities include the Hui, Kazak, Tujia, Manchus, Mongols, Tibetan and so on.The peoples all living together in this oasis for reproduction with a sense of harmony and stability in the long-term mixed inhabitation.This paper analyzes explore the harmonious ethnic relations in Turpan Prefecture Minority Nationality Areas and based on field investigation of Aoyiman-Braque village where is located Toksun county in the Turpan Prefecture of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.Through investigation and interview to understand here all the villagers respect and help each other become the order of the day.This paper consists of four chapters.Chapter I give a brief introduction to Aoyiman-Braque village and uyghur history.The second describe the harmonious ethnic relations scene of the village from diverse perspectives,which include village committee, men and women as well as various transactional in village.Chapter III through the three areas of geographical location,religion culture and economic development analyzes the related reasons of harmonious ethnic relations in Aoyiman-Braque village,informed that Aoyiman-Braque village in the northern gate of Toksun county has great strengths of convenient geographic location and efficient transport infrastructure construction that will strengthen the relations between village with the outside world,improve the village economic backwardness and promote relationship among various nationalities village, different religions and multi-cultural coexist make a positive impact in harmonious ethnic relations.The element of economic development is a strong driving force of promote the harmonious ethnic relations and become the material basis of national existence, which can guarantee the basic life. Chapter IV draw the conclusion of successful experience of harmonious ethnic relations in Aoyiman-Braque village,mainly from the three different groups of party member,religious people and villagers.Through in-depth analysis,the author view that the sense of harmony and stability in a multi-ethnic village need effectively manage of village committee,sufficient cooperation of all party members as well as upholding of the religious people.Meanwhile it also can hardly achieve without the mutual help in villagers.
