Study On The Ethnic Inter-Embeddedness In Yunnan Province

Since2014, the CPC central committee put forward a proposal according to the new situation, new problem and new challenges of ethnic development in China, which is " to establish ethnic inter-embedded social structures and community environment, and to promote mutual understanding, mutual respect, mutual tolerance, mutual appreciation, mutual learning, mutual help between ethnics, and to build up a Great Wall with the people of every ethnic to safeguard national unification, ethnic unity and social stability." this paper, based on such a background and also on the ethnics’history and reality in Yunnan, puts forward Ethnic Inter-embeddedness theory, and explains the elements of the ethnic inter-embedded social structure; and summarizes the experience Ethnic Inter-embedded social structure’s establishment under the the analysis of Ethnic Inter-embeddedness structure in Yunnan Province.Nowadays, China is experiencing the reform deepening in economic and political system, profound changing in social structure and multiculturalism’s growing. Under such new historical conditions, It has become an important theoretical and realistic problem of great significance, that how to establish Ethnic Inter-embedded social structure to achieve cohesiveness for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, this paper, based on a research on the ethnic theory and the Newest Achievement of Marxism Ethnic theory’s Sinicization, taking Ethnic Inter-Embeddedness theory as the analytical framework, explains population Inter-Embeddedness, living space Inter-Embeddedness, politics Inter-Embeddedness, economy Inter-Embeddedness, culture Inter-Embeddedness in Ethnic inter-Embeddedness Theory and analyzes the basis, motivation and culture factors of Ethnic Inter-Embeddedness in Yunnan Province.This paper, based on the history of ethnic minorities in Yunnan and profound historical data, shows that Yunnan has formed An Ethnic Inter-Embedded social structure. Population Inter-Embeddedness in Yunnan can be seen as "Ethnic population inter-Embedded spontaneously "and "han large-scale immigration embedded"’.Spontaneous Inter-Embeddedness mainly took place among Diqiang, Baiyue and Baipu three ethnic groups, and military immigrants in which han was the main body, livelihood and business immigrants are the main mode for yunnan large-scale immigration. There are mainly two forms of Living space Inter-Embeddedness:dynamic and static, and road building and expanding is the main link. Economic Inter-Embeddedness is the important driving force in the Ethnic Inter-Embeddedness’s formation. In state’s governance, economic policy and economic system with state authority are the fundamental driving forces of ethnic development, which also can be seen as booster of Ethnic Inter-Embeddedness. Political Inter-Embeddedness is a double-edged sword. Positive political system and Ethnic policies will promote the Inter-Embeddedness between the local power and central authority, and negative Political Inter-Embeddedness could lead to the Anti-Embeddedness of local ethnic minorities. Cultural Inter-Embeddedness is an important characterization of Ethnic Inter-Embeddedness. Chinese culture is always guiding and reshaping the ethnic culture in Yunnan Province. The marriage Inter-Embeddedness is one important indicator of the degree of Ethnic Inter-Embeddedness. Profound historical and cultural basis for marriage Inter-Embeddedness also lead to profound practice of marriage Inter-Embeddedness in Yunnan Province. All in all, the experience of Ethnic Inter-Embeddedness in Yunnan Province is of great importance as references for the establishment of Ethnic Inter-Embeddedness social structures and community environment in other Multinational areas.
