State-owned enterprises are the core pillar of China’s economy, which plays an important role in promoting social development and improving people’s living standards. With the globalization of economy, state-owned enterprises with abundant capital, excellent technology and advanced management, continuing to accelerate transnational operation, the production and management in the business to expand overseas, and in the process, achieved good results. “The Belt and Road Initiative” strategy, pointing out the direction of development of the internationalize—tion of state-owned multinational enterprises. The next stage will be the critical period of rapid development of state-owned multinational enterprises. Based on the complex and volatile international political and economic situation, the smooth development of state-owned multinational enterprises, is subject to many factors.From decades of experience in the development of state-owned enterprises, the ideological and political work has always been the lifeblood of all the work. For state-owned multinational corporations, the extraterritorial Ideological and Political Work still has an important role. However, due to the state-owned multinational enterprises are still in the exploratory stage of overseas operations, the experience of overseas workers in the ideological and political work is not mature, its effect is difficult to fully play. Therefore, the paper in view of the present situation of state-owned multinational enterprises overseas development, and strive to from the perspective of ideological and political work and explore on how to strengthen the ideological and political work of foreign workers, so as to better promote state-owned multinational enterprise of scientific development. This paper mainly includes 6 parts, the specific research ideas are as follows:The first chapter is the introduction part. This chapter focuses on the research background, significance, research status, research methods, research routes and innovation and deficiencies, which is the basis and premise of the whole article.The second chapter is an overview of the ideological and political work of overseas workers in state-owned multinational enterprises. In order to carry out the research on the ideological and political work of state-owned overseas multinational enterprises, the article first defines the essence and extension of it; and explores its further connotation. At the same time, the article also research from different angles of state, enterprises and workers etc, analyze the necessity and significance of strengthening the ideological and political work of overseas workers in state owned multinational enterprises, it can consolidate the state-owned multinational enterprise position in the overall work of the party and country, promote the common development of enterprises and the masses of workers.The third chapter is the origin of the theory of the ideological and political work of overseas workers in state-owned multinational enterprises. The ideological and political work is a comprehensive subject, it is an important part of the Marx doctrine.
