This article uses the I-P-0model as the basic analysis framework, and uses organization management theory, organizational behavior and sports training theory as the theoretical basis. The research methods of this article contains literature material, investigation and interviews, qualitative research method, mathematical statistics and logical reasoning. This article analyses the basic theory of the team effectiveness of our country universities high level sports team collective ball events, and also constructs a theory model of ball games in our colleges and universities high level of the collective team effectiveness, Finally, put forward the strategy to enhance the team effectiveness of high level of the Collective Ball Games project. The main conclusions are as follows:1) Attribute of the Chinese University high level sports team for the collective ball games is amateur, business, sports and education. University high level sports team belongs to the collective ball games sports team, they not only has the features of the general team, but also has the unique feature that is different from conventional team, which mainly reflected in six aspects:(1) the team performance forms of expression are relatively single;(2) the period of the team’s life appears characteristic of cycle;(3) Multi level of team’s objective;(4) A high degree of team trust;(5) the coach plays multiple roles in the team;(6) the unique value and function of key players.2) Team effectiveness of collective ball games is a comprehensive reflection of the team final output, which is what effect the team produces. It is a kind of team ability and team State team shows, and also is the team’s ability to survive, adapt, develop and maintain. It reflects sustainability and the degree of hard training and competition of the team members. Also it is an important predictor of the team’performance for long-term and sustainable improvement3) The index of Team effectiveness of universities high level collective ball games in China should include the content index, processing index and resulting index. The content index is defined as the level of coaching and behavior as well as the level of technique and tactics and attainment. The process index is defined as the team commitment and the satisfaction of team cooperation which also known as the vitality of a team. The resulting index defined as the team’s performance and the completion of team’s task.4) The team effectiveness model of the University high level collective ball games project is composed of four types of variables; they are antecedent variables, processing variables, intermediary variables and outcoming variables. The antecedent variables including team goals, team trust, team conflict and coachers’leadership;The processing variables including team trust and team learning; the intermediary variables include the team cohesion; the outcoming variables include team vitality and team performance.5) The team effectiveness hypothesis model of the University high level collective ball games project is mainly composed of the external environment factors, the designing factors, the processing factors, the team psychological characteristics factors and the resulting factors.
