The Research On Career Development And Plan Of Table Tennis Athelets In Our Country

During the process of Chinese establishing market economy system of the socialism,the reemployment system of the athletes after their retirement has experienced deep reforms.Along with the deeper development of the market reforms,more and more athletes will face the fierce competition of obtaining an occupation. Therefore,the professional career plans have the extremely vital significance to the athletes——a very special community in the society. This article utilizes the study of management,sociology,and the economy related theory;also adopts many researching techniques such as literature material,expert interviewing,questionnaire survey,logic analysis;has conducted more thorough research to the professional career and programming issues of the country’s provincial table tennis athletes’.The conclusions are drawn as the following:1.The athletes’ athletic careers are quite different from their professional careers.The athletic careers are only part of their occupational careers.However,for the athletes,they can lead to either big or small influence to the athletes’ after sporting careers. According to this article,the athletes’ professional careers are divided into two stages:sporting careers and after a sporting careers2.The table tennis athletes’ professional career cycles can be divided into six stages:namely extracurricular preparatory period, athletic chrysalis period,initial stages of athletic career, intermediate stage of athletic career,the evening period of athletic career and the athletic career after sporting.Each stage has different occupational developing content.3.The professional characteristics of the table tennis athletes’ professional careers can be:high prestige,also remain stable many years; the developing ways of their professional careers can be divided into the organization route and the achievement route;the time to be trained specialized is comparatively too early;very obvious specialized purpose in the technical aspect.The characteristics of this community are:The athletic trauma usually won’ t seriously influence the professional careers after sporting;It has been formed the primarily specialized knowledge skill structure of taking the junior middle school knowledge as the foundation,then having the rich ping pong knowledge and skills as a major.4.It is their parents who influenced the table tennis athletes the most to select their occupations;the most desirable places for them to work after sporting are the posts such as state departments or state undertaking units;the first three factors for them to pay attention to when choosing a career after retiring are the exertion of individual ability,the stability of the job and personal interests;the first choice for the athletes is always to go to universities to study further and go abroad to play table tennis.5.After the table tennis athletes end their sporting career life, the development of their "professional career" mainly concentrates to four areas:the occupations which directly related to table tennis training and match,mainly coaches;the occupations which related to table tennis sport administration,mainly the administrators of table tennis sport organizations;the occupations which related to production and management of table tennis sport equipment;the occupations which related to popularization of table tennis sport,mainly included teachers of PE and staff members of business and institution unit;other occupations not related to table tennis sport.Based on the former conclusions,this research elaborated the main content of implementation of career plans of table tennis athletes. Firstly,construct career plan servosystem of table tennis athletes; secondly,reinforce the comprehensive education for all-around development of table tennis athletes;thirdly,reinforce development of table tennis athletes’ versatile professional ability;Forthly,pay more attention to the planning of table tennis athletes’ ability which can be shifted;Fifthly,self-appraise correctly,analysis external environment objectively,carry on comparison between the cost and the income,establish occupation development goals,implement feasible strategies,promptly make feedback and revision for the plan.
