The quality of the domestic continuous miner is poor, its performance is not well adapted tousing requirements, and the development of continuous miner and the process implementation ofthe short wall mechanization are severely constrained. To solve the key technology of the designtheory and the research of the continuous miner, comprehensive, systematic, in-depth study ofstability, reliability, quality of coal, the efficiency and the cost of production for continuousminer is carried on. The main factors affecting the cutting performance is researched anddetermined through the kinematics, static and dynamics analysis.The kinematics model of cutting mechanism, running mechanism and loading mechanismin the cutting face is established, the instantaneous cutting depth by uneven movement of teeth isanalyzed and it provides the theoretical basis for calculation of the instantaneous load. Analyzingthe factors affecting the cutting force, cutting cylinder tension, loading mechanism loads andtracks load of the continuous mine, the mechanical model is established and it providesfoundation for the static design of the complete machine.Analyzing the factors affecting the cutting performance of the continuous miner and theaffecting law of the structure parameters of cutting arm and drum, the cutter configurationparameters and drum speed, rotate speed of cutting arm on the cutting performance isachieved.The dynamic model of the machine is established by Lagrangian method, the dynamicresponse is analyzed, the vibration amplitude of some points of the different moments andprovides a theoretical basis for the experiment in the choice of the measuring point. According tothe dynamic response, the right vibration point is selected and the initiative force is taken tocontrol the vibration amplitude. When the K value is1108N/m, the vibration amplitude reacheslowness and then goes to stabilize.The finite element model of the cutting arm, roller and cutting cylinder are built byStructural analysis module of the Pro/MECHANICA (Pro/M). The sensitivity and modalanalysis is carried on to determine the change range of the design parameters. According to thecollaborative optimization design concept, the mathematical model of various parameters isestablishes under the conditions of the structural static and dynamic requirements (strength,stiffness, vibration, etc.).The impact of various parameters on the performance of the model inthe range of parameter variations is analyzed and the optimal solution that satisfies theconditions is achieved. It not only provides the foundation for improving the reliability and service life of the equipment, repairing and maintenance, but it provides theoretical guidance andtechnical support for further study of the continuous miner.
