This article based on the serious environmental pollution and water pollutionincident occurred frequently, and so on, has pointed out that the traditionalagricultural development in the northeast of China is in destruction of the ecologicalenvironment and the excessive use of natural resources. China is increasing utility ofchemical fertilizer in the21st century, now has become the world’s first fertilizerconsumption kingdom. The use of pesticides is more terrible, a large part of allresidues has been left in water, soil and agricultural fruit. How to protect theecological environment and natural resources in the development of agriculturaleconomy is an acute problem that we must solve. Study on ecological agriculture inthe northeast of China, meets the need of the ecological agriculture economicdevelopment, is the strong support of food security and ecological security.Ecological agriculture development in northeast China can help economicdevelopment of China, keep social stability and improve the foundation of thenational comprehensive competitiveness, can be the guarantee of nationalindependence and people’s health, especially for such a population and agriculturalcountry, has much more special significance.Based on the ecological thought of Karl Marx, Marx’s ecological system theoryand agricultural ecological economics theory as the foundation, this article hasanalyzed the basis of the principle of ecological agriculture development in northeastChina. In international experience part of ecological agriculture, this article haspointed out the ecological agriculture development of the United States and Europerespectively, and the international experience about ecological agriculture organization, the foreign ecological agriculture research and teaching institutions,international human resource involved in the ecological agriculture, ecologicalagricultural development patterns and relative benefits and has analyzed theecological agriculture development of northeast China how to absorb these advancedexperiences to highly promote the development of ecological agriculture in northeastChina.In general, on the basis of theoretical basis and international advancedexperience, this article from the ecological environment factors, natural resourcesand rural human resources factors has analyzed the present situation of theecological agriculture development and challenges in the northeast of China. Due tochanges of society and a variety of reasons, the influence of the agriculturalecological environment is worsening in northeast China. Ecological environment isgetting worse because it can not withstand natural disasters, pesticides, chemicals,construction waste and other serious pollutions, for example decrease in forestresources, serious soil erosion and land desertification, degree and scope ofecological deterioration in the expansion, all that brings negative effects to thenortheast agricultural sustainable development will cannot be ignored. The educationlevel of rural human resources in northeast China is relatively low, the agriculturalskill level is not high as well, at the same time we also face a large number of rurallabor force migrating to big cities, especially the youth labor force, the ecologicalagriculture will be unfavorable. What we need to do is to improve theircomprehensive scientific literacy, on the basis of mastering agricultural skills, letthem full of working enthusiasm, make them a part of leaders for the development ofecological agriculture.The fifth and sixth part of this paper has analyzed the models of thedevelopment of ecological agriculture in northeast China and successful cases ofecological agriculture pattern has been presented. This would give some references and suggestions to the northeast China to establish ecological agriculture system. Atthe same time, this paper also analyzed the ecological agriculture development in thenortheast of comprehensive benefits, including ecological benefits, economicbenefits and social benefits. Finally, this paper has advanced some suggestions foraccelerating the development of ecological agriculture in northeast China.
