The introduction gives a brief review of the research, the current state, the method and significance of the proposition. The main text contains four chapters. The first chapter has analyzed GuoPu’s Note book outsidely from the note style and method two different angles. Conclusions are as follows:GuoPu was mainly focused on the text collated and comment on the words and name objects, the two main methods GuoPu used are citing the ancient books and listing objects. In the process of comment, GuoPu not only focused on the literature handed down from ancient times, and also attached great importance to the newly unearthed literature. The literature he sited had great value in philology and mythology.The two chapter’s content is to analyze the features of GuoPu’s Shan Hai Jing Note. GuoPu’s Note had two central purposes, one was to prove its authenticity, the other was to highlight their God heterosexual.
