Analysis On The Application Of The Image Of Mountain God In Shan Hai Jing In Painting Creation ——Taking The Series Of "Xiu Ling Tu" As An Example

The Classic of Mountains and Seas is an amazing work with excellent imagination and a legendary novel about the ancient biological evolution and regional evolution of China.With its weird language and figurative description,it allows people to touch directly upon every ancient Chinese creature that has evolved or even died out.Among them,the mountain god is an important part.The mountain gods in ’Shanhaijing ’ are mainly divided into group mountain gods and one mountain god.The characteristics of the mountain gods are that they have no god name.The mountain gods have unique morphological characteristics and separate divine names.They also serve as other functions in addition to the functions of mountain gods.According to the image of the mountain god in the literature,six main elements are extracted : dragon,bird,livestock（cattle,sheep,horse,pig）,snake,animal（tiger,leopard）and human.The mountain god is composed of many elements.From these elements,we can see the ancestors ’ understanding of the world and the reaction of aesthetic consciousness.Through the interpretation of the mountain god image in the “ Shanhaijing ”,combined with the professional knowledge and skills learned,a series of works of“ Shanhaijing ’Shanshentu –“ Xiulingtu ”with their own painting style have been created.They mainly use propylene pigment as the creative material,and use exaggeration,gradual change and other creative methods to draw.They are decorated with pearl stickers,gold foil paper and other materials to form a complete picture.The purpose of this paper and works is to enrich the image of the mountain gods of art works,provide creative inspiration for reference,carry forward and inherit the traditional Chinese culture,stimulate people ’s interest in traditional Chinese culture.
