Study On Contemporary Chinese Leisurely Ethics’ Cultivation

From a global perspective, each countries have experienced or are experiencing a leisure revolution. Statistics show, people will demand for leisure, the per capita GDP of$1000. In the twenty-first century, China entered a hitherto unknown era of leisure. Leisure has become a way of life and quality of life. This is income and leisure time, to extend the life of the economic growth, the potential participation so that people have more opportunities and leisure activities. Therefore, we can say, leisure plays a more and more important role in people’s daily life. There are more opportunities and potential participation in leisure activities. Therefore, we can say, leisure play a more and more important role in people’s daily life.Leisure Ethics is the object of study and fields of Leisure Ethics and also the new areas and new problems for contemporary applied ethics. Leisure contains some kind of value orientation and moral standards. As a kind of life activity which contains some kind of value orientation and moral standards, leisure, in itself, is an emotional experience, is the integration pleasure between human and leisure environment and also the existence enjoyment of people’s sociality, life meaning and values. The nature of leisure ethics interrelates with the nature of human and shows the quality of life and lifestyle. The so-called leisure ethics refers to the basic norms that people should follow in leisure life and leisure practice and moral quality which formed by this. It is a leisure ethical system composed by leisure ethic awareness, leisure ethics relationship and leisure ethical practice. Leisure ethics plays an important role in achieving self-worth. Leisure ethics is just to realize comprehensive development and freedom of personality, thus to achieve a unity of life and liberty.This paper based on the human’s needs, especially the people’s practical and internal needs for leisure life after our country entering the era of Leisure, gets into the point of leisure ethics and happy life, use Marxist materialism and dialectics as the main theoretical foundation and research methods, deeply study and discuss the basic principles of contemporary leisure ethical principle, namely the physical and mental health principle, just and reasonable principle and elegance principle, on the basis of exploring Western leisure ethics resources, and then explains the relations in leisure ethics and labor ethics, leisure ethics and happy life aiming to reflect the reality. Next, this paper analyzed all sorts of reasons why our contemporary leisure ethics are deprived of norms and proposed a number of countermeasures. Meanwhile, on how to build contemporary leisure ethics with Chinese characteristics, my views also were presented in this paper. I advocate constructing leisure ethics which adapting to modern civilization, agreeing with happy life and consisting with livable home to promote the physical and mental health, save energy for entrepreneurship and pursue elegant life. We should develop a kind of social leisure ethics culture of getting advancement and extensive, nationality and Universality integrated, using leisure help labor, raising labor by leisure, alternating work and rest, serve for the construction of socialist spiritual civilization and ecological civilization, enhancing the overall Chinese spirit and achieving the great rejuvenation of our nationLeisure ethical research contributes to help people correctly understand the relations in leisure and labor, leisure ethics and labor ethics, and thus understand the quality of life and lifestyle, and what people should live for and how to live and more philosophical and ethical issues. At the same time, it helps promote the study of applied ethics and the theoretical significance of leisure Ethics Subject’s establishment and development. Leisure ethics confirm with the requirements and expectations people pursuit to happy life. Through positive guidance, establishing a healthy, civilized and environmental concept of leisure helps to change the concept of attaching more importance to work than life and more attentions to production than consumption over thousand years and then establish a modern, scientific way of life.
