The motif is the smallest plot module in the narrative literature, which may exist independently in the context, or be repackaged in a variety of styles or cultural products. The spread of the motif has its inherent regularity. The inheritance and the accumulation of motif can be affected by economic, religious, cultural and other factors. Therefore, it is necessary to dig the connotation of motif. According to the clues of the literature history, to summarize the structure characteristics of motif and to investigate the characteristics of the evolution of the motif in different periods, we can see that the motif is a simple and constant structure, with its essence being the common national cultural psychology. The different characteristics of the motifs shown in different times are the embodiment of the characteristics of the times and the trend of literature.The myth is the source of motif. Myth is the condensation of human consciousness in early stage, and later extended to a cultural mentality of a people. Therefore, myth motif is of great significance for the literature especially the narrative literature, and contains rich national spirit. Many myth motifs have prototype meaning and the value of analysis, so we choose the myth motif as the object of study.The introduction part of the thesis discusses the basic problem such as motif definition, under the guidance of methodology, researching single motif. The article distinguished the similar concepts related motif, such as theme, image etc. And to regulate the motif concept, In addition, we need to elaborate upon it in terms of theory, elaborated the research technique and the research significance of the motif of myth. Analysis the basic characteristics of motif, not only makes the expression more perfect, but also to make the research more comprehensive and systematic.Each chapter analysis a motif, and this paper selects three motifs as the object of study, which are heterogeneous change, the meeting between the people and God, and reincarnation. We analyze material to understand morphological characteristics and cultural origin of these motifs. We hope to know some basic characteristics of traditional culture and basic law of the development of literature Chinese. So we can treat the development China culture and human culture in a more scientific attitude.Each chapter according to the time sequence is divided into several sections, The contents of each section approximately includes three parts:First is combing the covered of the plot structure in each stage; The second is to summing up the characteristics and the change of the plot on the basis of analysis; Finally, we reveal its cultural formation.The first chapter of this paper focuses on the motif of the communication between man and God. The motif has its source in an ancient fertility rite. However, its original meaning was soon overshadowed. This structure is used to express the subject consciousness and religious ideals. We do longitudinal study also tries to analysis the performance of the motif from the horizontal. What we are talking about the concept of God, It also includes the fairy and ghost. Therefore, The relationship between man and God also includes the relationship between human beings and the fairy、the relationship between man and ghost. There is no absolute boundary between these three kinds of circumstances. With the evolution of the times, God, Fairy these roles gradually fade out, but the ghost began to increase the plot ratio. The change of the plot structure is the embodiment of the desalination religious and comprehensive establishment of secular society。The second chapter analyzes the motif of heterogeneous turned. First, the writer researches the heterogeneous illusion phenomenon in myth. Heterogeneous illusion is the primitive thought which is predominated by law of mutual permeability. Illusion is emphasized the existence of life energy, But this motif in the deductive process of history, it shown the characteristics of three different stages. Such as in the Song Dynasty and the Ming Dynasty, the relations of alien and human become the focus of the plot. The center of the plot of change will profoundly influence the development of the plot, in the Tang Dynasty, the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the original meaning of this motif is highly valued. Combined with the ideology of the times, this plot has more rich connotation. The motif has become more diversified. Some famous writers such as Cao Xueqin, their creation is the innovation of ancient motif。The third chapter of the thesis is the motif of revive. The resurrection of the plot results from primitive understanding of natural circulation. Based on the analysis of the motif, we further propose China classical culture has a strong color of Taoism. These three motifs reflect the essential characteristics more or less。In addition, the article also briefly discusses the structure of yin and Yang in the kernel problem of culture, discussing the historical evolution of Chinese classical literature, pointing out our attitude towards traditional culture should be.In conclusion, this research is based on morphological characteristics of myth motif, through the analysis of the text, in order to summarize the rule of development of culture and Literature. The three levels are the progressive and closely integrated. We systematically investigated the performance of some motif, Understanding Chinese classical literature,classical culture from a new angle, making a meaningful reference for the literary study and culture in the future.
