On Liu Xiaofeng Mind The Individual Thinking

Liu XiaoFeng ("Liu") is an intellectual in the contemporary era. Since his debut, Liu has been placing an image of complexity and variety, whether of the changeability in the steering of academic path, or style. Nonetheless, undoubtedly, Liu represents one of the most important contemporary scholars. As the China society began its entering into the process of advanced development and modernization, Liu had introduced important ethical values to the transformation of academic and scholastic circles in China. It is worthwhile to take a further look into Liu’s scholastic mind.From a renewed perspective of "Esthetics of the Mind", and in the form of time and space, this thesis analyzed Liu’s three layers of the mind, i.e., the spiritual connotation of perception, intellectual, and will, to grasp the pulses and thoughts he placed upon the different layers of the mind. Hence, the thesis is titled "A Discussion of The Individuality in the Mind in Liu Xiaofeng". After the probing and discussion, it is learnt that Liu, in his spiritual pursuit of "Individualistic" within the mind, whether from an angle of academic path or style, is a steering from the "Mind of the Individual" to "The Individual Mind".The entire thesis consisted of5chapters. Chapter1presented an analysis of Liu’s source of the "Individualistic Mind". With the form of time and space, this chapter is split into three different periods of time:"Reform of the Mind during the Cultural Revolution","Era of Open Door to Reform" and "Era of Modernization". In each time period, this chapter discussed the evolution and development journey of the individual mind. Also, by form of space, it analyzed ideological layers into "Poetic Philosophy","Salvation Theology" and "Political Philosophy", as well as explored the accounts of ontology and epistemology in the spiritual pursuit of the "Subjective" individual mind. In form of time, Chapter2proceeded straightly into the discussion and exploration of the perceptual aspect of Liu’s mind. It also paid a visit to the germination of the spiritual pursuit of "Ontology" and each of the experience of perceptual emotions over these three different eras. Then, in form of space again, Chapter3attempted to investigate the various cognitive concepts of Liu’s intellectual mind. From there, it solicited the principles of practicing aesthetics, through the spiritual pursuit of "Individualistic" in anthropological esthetics, in the context of Liu’s "Poetic Philosophy"; it also talked about the forward looking upon the ultimate salvation derived from the "Salvation Theology" mind, grounded upon faction-free theology. Further, it went on to the analysis of ethical dilemma faced in the basics of life over the "Subjectivity" of the individual (person), in light of the ideological layer of modern theology bounded in the "Political Philosophy". Chapter4discussed the transcend state of the mind in Liu; it analyzed Liu’s "state of the beyond" in the esthetics of "Poetic Philosophy", the ultimatum of the beyond in "Salvation Theology", and the sensational transcending in "Political Philosophy". Chapter5summarized the various pulsations of the mind and thoughts of the above three different states of the mind. It reflected on the steering from the "Mind of the Individual" to "The Individual Mind" that are presented from the evolution of either the path, or the style or nature of intellect, based upon the spiritual pursuit of the subject matter concept of "Individualistic" within the mind. And consequently to reflect on the "Mind of the Individual" by Liu. Finally, the conclusion paragraph summarized the author’s thoughts following these studies and research.
