The research into the court drama of Ming Dynasty has been fully developing since the entry into the new century, but in contrast to the relatively mature royal drama of Qing Dynasty, its materials are not enough and there are even no supporting materials for some periods, thus the researchers can only come to their conclusion by inference. Therefore, the exploration into the materials is the most important task in the research. My thesis focuses on the collection and sorting of the materials with the form of chronicle, exploring、 combing、studying、examining、cataloging and sorting the relevant drama acting materials, including the rite music system of Ming Dynasty、the creation and action of its court drama、the copying and revisiting、inscribing、collecting and spreading of the court drama and the authors and actors and so on, aiming to clarifying the fundamental outline of the court drama of Ming Dynasty, striving to reflecting the original outlook of it.The thesis is composed of three parts:introduction、body and appendix. Introduction is the summary of the development of the court drama of Ming Dynasty. Body is "the important chronicle catalogue of the court drama of Ming Dynasty", from Zhu Yuanzhang King Wu Yuan Year (1367) to Nan Ming Hong Guang Yuan Year (1645), including279years. Appendix include the list of the important players’s names、the dress research and the essentials of some of the court dramas.
