Research On Court Musical Instruments And Bands In Ming Dynasty

In the long ancient Chinese society,court bands have always been an important part of court music culture.The court bands of the Ming Dynasty were large in scale,well-established,with a wide variety of musical instruments,rich repertoires,and diversified bands.They played a relatively important role in the court life and political activities of the Ming Dynasty.Based on the research of court bands in the Ming Dynasty,this article can not only show the full history of court bands in the Ming Dynasty,but also objectively understand their historical position and profound influence in the development of ancient Chinese music,so as to enrich and perfect the history of ancient Chinese music.The research materials do a little bit for the deeper research of ancient Chinese music.This article mainly studies from five aspects: the types of musical instruments in the court bands of the Ming Dynasty,the compilation of the court bands in the Ming Dynasty,the repertoire of the court bands in the Ming Dynasty,the application occasions of the court bands in the Ming Dynasty,and the reason,function,influence and significance of the formation of the court bands in the Ming Dynasty.
