Research On Non-profit Organization Construction And Development Of Community Sports In China

Non-profit organization of community Sports refers to the social organization of non-government thatfocuses on contacting, mobilizing and organizing community residents to participate in fitness andrecreational activities, which offers public beneficial services without any purpose of making profits. Thedissertation taking the non-profit organization development of community sports as the main researchobject, using the method of literature, secondary data analysis, questionnaire survey, participantobservation, empirical and normative analysis, researches systematically its basic attribute, formationmechanism, evolution process, development foundation and the construction measures. The goal is toenrich theoretical research content of non-profit organizations of community sports and to contribute topromoting construction and development of it. The main conclusions are as the following:1. Non-profit organizations of community sports in China gradually derived from the mutual action ofexternal structural dynamic and internal environment dynamic, in which the system reform is the first causeof formation, the system demand is the formed front driving force, the public space is the formed logicbasis, the economic development is formed basis security, the community service is necessary formedopportunity, the sports policies and regulations is system security of the formation, social sports personnelis main conditions of the formation, the contradiction of supply and demand is endogenous power.2. The quantity of non-profit organizations of community sports in our country is numerous, itsdiversity is morphological, and its scale is huge, but its overall development is not mature. The ratio of theorganizations that are registered by law or by records is less than the organizations that are not registeredby law or by records. The different types of non-profit organizations of community sports have bigdifference in the basic living conditions, social resources and organizational stability, but on the whole,activities can be carried out in a relatively fixed position with rich content and high frequency.3. Non-profit organizations of community sports in China show characters as follows: organizationalgoals have dual characteristics of generality and a plurality, organizational members’ structure has doublefeature of heterogeneity and groupment, organization structure appears flat and multicenter, organizationmanagement is flexible and interactive, interactive process coexist in open and exclusive, organizationboundary has fuzzy and changeable characteristics.4. Non-profit organizations of community sports are characterized by multiplicity and closeness inorganizational relations.There are big differences in leader selection, decision-making, resources obtaining,internal government and the like between different organizations.Those legally-registeredorganizations are superior to the non-registered ones in resources obtaining and internal governmentwhile the latter are obviously more flexible and regular in organizing activities.5. Social capital is the indispensable social resource for non-profit organizations of community sportsto carry out activities, which is formed by three factors of social relation network, conduct code and mutualtrust interrelated contacting. At present, non-profit organizations of community sports in our country haveaccumulated a certain amount of social capital, but they do not pay enough attention to the construction ofsocial relationship network or use social capital skillfully to acquire resources, which result in slow speedin updating and insufficient performance of scale effect.6. The main difficulties and questions that non-profit organizations of community sports are facingnow focus on the following five aspects: social resources are insufficient, the development foundation isweak; multiple management limited, development space is limited; policy execution is insufficient,supporting measures lack; professional ability is low, multiple forces disperse; communication is not free,benefit expression is blocked; social supervision is weak, evaluation incentive lack.7. The construction measures that promote non-profit organization of community sports developmentare as follows: to carry out and consummate the laws and regulations, and to build the good systemenvironment; to increase the construction investment, and to enrich the organization’s social resources; toestablish communication coordination center, and to improve the relation network; strengthen to the sceneactivity organization management, and to establish the benefit demand mechanism; to construct supportand cultivation system, and to establish the consummation and support system; to enhance theorganizations own construction, and to improve the autonomous ability; to establish the appraise and drivemechanism,and to promote the organizations healthy development.
