Research On The Coordinate Development Between Logistics Industry And Regional Economy In China

With the acceleration of economic globalization and regional economic integration process, logistics industry, new complex industry including carriage, loading and uploading, packaging, freight forwarding, distribution processing, delivery and information processing activities, has become the artery of national economy development and a new growing point of global economy, whose role in promoting regional economic can’t be ignored. Logistics industry practices histories of all the world show that there are deep connections between modern logistics and regional economy. Undermining the balance will inhibit the developments of two. Recently, with the implementation of good policies and economic development, the logistics industry has got apparent development. There exist some problems such as overall size being smaller, operation being outdated and imbalance between logistics supplies and demands. These problems lead directly to the disharmony development of logistics industry-regional economy. Currently, there are a large number of researches on relationships of logistics industry-regional economy, concentrating on interaction mechanisms and the contribution of logistics industry to economic growth. The researches on coordination development mechanism, methods and coordination differences are rare. Therefore, systematical researching on the coordination development mechanism and differences of logistics industry-regional economy to make the overall plan and guidance to modern logistics industry from the angle of regional integration has the important theory value and practical significance on optimization of resources allocation, promoting regional logistics ability, upgrading the regional industry structure and realizing the continuous, healthy and coordinated development of logistics industry-regional economy.Based on the achievements of logistics theories, economic growth theories, regional economy theories, industry economy theories and system science, with the methods of combining empirical analysis and normative analysis, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, drawing on the successful experiences of USA, EU and Japan, this dissertation analyzes the present situation and characteristic of national logistics industry, discusses the coordinated development mechanism of logistics industry-regional economy and constructs the theoretical frame of coordinated development from the viewpoint of system science. Under the guidance of frame, by constructing the evaluation index system and calculation model of logistics industry-regional economy coordinated development, this paper attempts to calculate and evaluate the coordination and development degree in the eastern, central and western regions. Based on the results, general thoughts and policy advices on the coordinated development of logistics industry-regional economy are proposed to supply the policy reference and decision basis for logistics industry.At first, this dissertation determines the feasibility of coordinated development of logistics industry-regional economy by analyzing the problems existing in the logistics industry combined with domestic and international logistics industry development experiences. Secondly, mutual promotion between logistics industry-regional economy is analyzed in depth from the viewpoints of quantitative and qualitative analysis. Evaluating the quantitative correlations between logistics industry-regional economy breaks through previous research viewpoints and thoughts. Starting from logistics industry trade effect, with the provincial panel data of2011, correlation analysis model is constructed in this dissertation. This model is used to analyze the logistics industry development relationship with provincial trade barriers and to dissect the mechanism and supporting effect of logistics industry on regional economic growth. Meanwhile, long-run equilibrium relationship of logistics industry-regional economy is analyzed by the method of co-integration analysis, taking the east, central area, west and north-east as the research object. And then, based on the system science theory and method, composite system of logistics industry-regional economy, as well as its connation and characteristic is proposed in this dissertation. Logistics curve is used to analyze the evolution mechanism of the composite system and propose the ideal model of logistics industry-regional economy coordinated development. In this dissertation, Synergetic and Dissipative Structure Theory are used to analyze the coordinated development mechanism. Results show synergetic effect is the inner motivation of logistics industry-regional economy coordinated development and negative entropy flows are the external conditions. Based on characteristics of the composite system and the coordinated development mechanism, this dissertation attempts to construct scientific, strict, convenient and integrated evaluation index system. Under the guidance of complex system theory and sorting the entire coordination degree evaluation model, calculation model of logistics industry-regional economy coordinated development is constructed by applying the order parameter, clustering analysis, PCA, gray relational analysis and regression analysis methods. This model is used to calculate the coordination degrees of logistics industry-regional economy in east, central area, west and north-east. Fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is used to evaluate the integrated coordination degrees of all the areas. The evaluation results are on three levels. At last, the dissertation proposes the overall thoughts of national logistics industry development. Advices on infrastructure construction, logistics operation mode innovation, logistics development perfection and logistics personnel training are proposed to supply the decision basis for logistics industry-regional economy coordinated development.
