At present,China's surrounding geo-environment is more complex, and the situation is hardly optimistic because of the fact that there not only exists turmoil and terrorism arising from the unbalanced development of politics, economy and society in the neighboring countries, but also includes regional disputes arising from unresolved history problems,as well as the strategic containment to China implemented by western hostile countries. To deal with these thorny problems,it not only depends on national power serving as backup force, but also needs geo-thinking to co-ordinate other issues, such as "The Belt and Road" strategy.Nowadays, regarding geo-environment study, there are lots of qualitative analyses, fewer quantitative and positioning ones. Therefore, this paper applies GIS to geo-environment analysis and puts forward several quantitative and positioning analysis methods, which can improve quantitative and positioning level of geo-environment research to a certain degree,as well as the accuracy and reliability of decision support in geo-environmental analysis. The main contents of this paper include the following parts:(1)Study on basic theory and architecture of geo-environment analysis based on GISThis paper analyzed related concepts of geo-environment analysis, put forward the concept of geo-environment analysis based on GIS and its 4D model, and analyzed its characteristics.Geo-environment data was analyzed and classified into different types. The main contents and methods of geo-environment analysis based on GIS were researched, among which the significance and study ideas of some researches were emphatically elaborated, including the spatial distribution division of geopolitical influence, the forecast of third-party intervention behavior about the conflict between two other countries and the assisted segmentation of border area. The current geo-environment analysis models(GEAM)were split into a series of meta-models which were further classified into different types. The synthesis method of GEAM indicator was studied. The geo-environment analysis architecture based on graphical modeling was built.(2)Study on the division of geopolitical influence distribution scopeFirst, this paper rebuilt national power index system and its calculation method by analyzing the current researches of national power.Second, geopolitical influence calculation model were reconstructed through analyzing the spatial constraint factors of national power projection and the current researches of geopolitical influence.Third, this article provided the definition of geopolitical influence distribution scope(GIDS)and its formal expression, raised the division method of GIDS and its parallel processing strategy in the computer, which contributed to the conversion that the study of national power was extended from quantitative measurement to quantitative positioning analysis.Final, the GIDSs of our country and surrounding countries were divided and analyzed, which could provide useful reference for our diplomatic work.(3)Research on the prediction of conflict intervention behavior considering geo-strategic perspectiveThe definition of the conflict intervention behavior(CIB)situation considering geo-strategic perspective was proposed. The situation factors about CIB were analyzed and quantified. Both the maritime conflict events caused by maritime territorial disputes and CIBs of third party were divided into different types, and the influences of various types of conflict events were quantified. On this basis,a prediction model of CIB based on BP neural network was proposed by analyzing the researches of international political forecast.Meantime, the accuracy and credibility of above prediction was improved using voting method. Finally, the effectiveness of the prediction model was verified and analyzed based on historical conflict cases. Both the advantages and disadvantages of the prediction method were analyzed. The effect and significance of forecast result was discussed.(4)Research on the assisted segmentation of boundary area considering geo-strategic elementsFirstly,geo-strategic elements and its effects were analyzed in border area segmentation.Secondly, this paper put forward a new approach of boundary area automatic segmentation assisted by neighborhood expansion method, built the boundary area environment model, and emphatically researched the key technologies of above automatic segmentation.Thirdly,a new automatic generation method of land delimitation line based on parallel simulated annealing algorithm was proposed, the calculation method of area and resource caused by terrain feature line was studied emphatically, and related key technologies and methods were designed, such as the generation of initial delimitation line, evaluation function of delimitation line and the parallel simulated annealing algorithm.Fourthly, the automatic match method between the delimitation line and the actual terrain under the multi-factor constraint was proposed, the basic principle of above automatic match was put forward, and the calculation method of area and resource change caused by terrain feature line was emphatically studied as well as the evaluation function of delimitation line. Finally, the effectiveness and reliability of above three methods were verified and analyzed through experiments.(5)Geo-environment analysis and modeling experiment systemThe function modules of experiment system were designed. The geo-environment analysis and modeling experiment system based on GIS was developed, where related technologies and methods of geo-environment analysis and modeling based on GIS proposed in this paper were implemented by coding.
