As the national lifeline,energy is also the cornerstone of the industry and livelihood.The existence and development of any country and society cannot leave energy.Along with the energy consumption,it is very important to develop new materials,improve the catalytic activity of the materials,and open up new energy.Zeolites with microporous,large surface areas,and high stability,is one of the most important porous catalytic material,which are widely used in the petrochemical,ion exchange,and environmental catalytic.Notably,the sustainable manner for the synthesis of zeolite is very important for industrial production of zeolite catalysts in the future.Currently,most of the zeolites are hydrothermally synthesized with the organic structure directed agents,which are costly and harmful to the environment.It is desperately need to synthesize zeolite without the organic templates and solvent.Here,it is aim to develop organotemplate-free and solvent-free synthesis routes,which are typically sustainable routes.This paper is mainly to synthesize high silica ZSM-22 zeolite with TON topology by seed-directed and organotemplate-free route.The zeolite seeds in the aluminosilicate gels are almost dissolved and the mechanism of zeolite crystallization is induced from the secondary building units that orient zeolite crystallization.It is worth mentioning that the seed-directed synthesis of ZSM-22 zeolite has very high silica utilization,compared with the seed-directed synthesis of Beta zeolite.In order to avoid organic templates thoroughly,a high-silica zeolite with TON structure is successfully synthesized by in the absence of any organic templates and zeolite seeds by adjusting the starting gels,which has high silica utilization.Recently,it has been reported that a solvent-free synthesis of aluminosilicate and aluminophosphate-based zeolites is very favourable for obtaining high silica utilization.In addition,solvent-free route can also significantly reduce the production of wastes and effectively eliminate high-pressure conditions in the synthesis.Borosilicate zeolite of B-MCM-22 has been successfully synthesized in the presence of zeolite seeds and low-cost organic template of cyclohexylamine from solvent-free route.Particularly,the Al and Ti species have been successfully substituted into the framework of the B-MCM-22 zeolite.Normally,hydrothermally synthesis of EMT zeolite has quite low productivity.Here,nano-sized EMT zeolite is obtained via solvent-free and organotemplate-free route by adjusting the aluminosilicate starting gels in low temperature,which has relatively high productivity and ion exchange capacity.This strategy fully avoids the combustion of costly OSDAs and production of harmful gases and liquid wastes,which is environmentally friendly and sustainable.
