With the development of hydropower industry and the maturity of construction technique,more and more large-scale hydropower projects have been built.Core rockfill dam,due to the characteristics of economically efficiency,safety and mature design and construction experience,which makes it a popular dam type.However,the construction process of core rockfill dam is a complex systems.With the characteristics of large construction intensity,tight schedules,complex construction techniques and strict quality control,which bring great challenges of the construction process of core rockfill dam.Firstly,current research on construction control of core rockfill dam mainly focus on the collection and analysis of construction parameters,which is lacking of intelligent optimization,decision-making and feedback to the construction process,so as to achieve the efficient control of the construction process;secondly,current research is limited to the individual construction or construction parameters analysis,lacking of intelligent control of the overall construction process.So,how to realize the intelligent optimization,decision-making and feedback in the construction process;how to carry on the reasonable plan to the construction plan in the control process;and how to achieve a comprehensive intelligent control of the construction process are all important research topics in the construction control of core rockfill dam.In this article we make further research on the above problems.The main research results are as follows:(1)In order to solve the problem that current research are unable to achieve timely,accurate and effective control of core rockfill dam construction process.This article proposes the theory of intelligent monitoring for core rockfill dam,through the analysis,optimization,decision-making and feedback of the construction information,the intelligent control of the construction process of the core wall rockfill dam is realized.The existing construction control of the core rock fill dam depends on the manual decision feedback,and the control process is uncertain and subjective and objective factors,so the construction process cannot be timely,accurately and effectively controlled.So,in order to improve the control quality of core rockfill dam,this article proposes the theory of intelligent monitoring for core rockfill dam,which realize the dynamic optimization of construction scheme,intelligent control of material transportation process,and intelligent control of dam filling process.Firstly,the construction process of core rockfill dam is described,and the aim,process,influencing factors and the characteristics of construction control are analyzed.Secondly,this paper analyzes the development course of the construction control of the core rockfill dam,and puts forward the theory of intelligent monitoring for core rockfill dam.Then,the dynamic optimization method of construction scheme,intelligent control method of material transportation process,and intelligent control method of dam filling process are proposed,the theory frame of intelligent monitoring for core rockfill dam is established.Finally,the mathematical model of intelligent monitoring for core rockfill dam is presented,the control objectives and influencing factors of the intelligent monitoring theory of the core rockfill dam is described.(2)In order to solve the problem that current research cannot achieve the optimization of construction schemes based on the analysis of multi construction plan of storehouse,and cannot dynamically adjust the construction scheme of storehouse due the construction process.This paper proposes the dynamic optimization method of construction scheme.The existing construction control of construction scheme optimization lacks of the analysis of multi construction plan of storehouse,and cannot dynamically adjust the construction scheme of storehouse due the construction process.In order to solve these problems,basing on the intelligent monitoring theory of core rockfill dam,this paper puts forward the dynamic optimization method of construction scheme.Firstly,the dynamic optimization method of construction scheme is described,the optimization goal,optimization content and optimization process are analyzed.Secondly,the mathematical model of the dynamic optimization method of construction scheme is established.Again,the simulation and optimization method for the construction scheme of core wall rockfill dam is analyzed,which includes the planning method of the storehouse construction plan,the refine simulation method of the storehouse,the simulation parameter sampling method and the construction scheme optimization method.Then,dynamically adjust method of the construction scheme of storehouse is analyzed,which includes the method of deviation analysis and the updating method of construction parameters.Finally,the application of the dynamic optimization method of construction scheme is analyzed basing on a core rockfill dam in southwest China.The results show that the dynamic optimization method of construction scheme can accurately analyze and reflect the construction process,and the effective control of the construction scheme is realized under the participation of the method.As an important component of the intelligent monitoring theory of core rockfill dam,this method can provide the guidance for the intelligent control of material transportation process and intelligent control of dam filling process.(3)In order to solve the problem that current research lack of the research of intelligent transportation route planning and intelligent control of water adding process.This paper proposes the intelligent control method of material transportation process.The existing research of material transportation control mainly for monitoring dam material loading and unloading process and the fixed water standards on the dam material water unified control,which is failed to carry out the intelligent planning and dynamic adjustment of water standard of the transport path.In order to solve these problems,basing on the intelligent monitoring theory of core rockfill dam,this paper puts forward the intelligent control method of material transportation process.Firstly,the definition of the intelligent control method of material transportation process is carried out,the control target,control link,control parameters,control content,control model structure and control flow are analyzed.Secondly,the mathematical model of intelligent control method of material transportation process is presented.Again,the intelligent control method of material transportation process is analyzed,including the real-time judgment of loading and unloading point and feedback method,dynamic control method of dam material water supply standard based on expert survey method,and intelligent optimization method of transportation path based on improved ant colony algorithm.Finally,the intelligent control method of material transportation process is applied based on a core rockfill dam in southwest China.The application results show that the intelligent control method of material transportation process can realize the intelligent control of material transportation process effectively,which provides new ideas and methods for the construction managers of material transportation process.(4)In order to solve the problem that current research lack of the research of intelligent monitoring of storehouse spreading thickness,and the intelligent optimization of construction parameters based on compaction quality analysis.This paper proposes the intelligent control method of dam filling process.The existing research of dam filling control lacks of the intelligent monitoring of storehouse spreading thickness,and the intelligent optimization of construction parameters based on compaction quality analysis.In order to solve these problems,basing on the intelligent monitoring theory of core rockfill dam,this paper puts forward the intelligent control method of dam filling process.Firstly,the definition of the intelligent control method of dam filling process is carried out,the control target,control link,control parameters,control content,control model structure and control flow are analyzed.Secondly,the mathematical model of intelligent control method of dam filling process is presented.Again,the intelligent control method of dam filling process is analyzed,including real time spreading thickness monitoring method based on K-nearest neiborhood,and intelligent analysis and optimization method of compaction quality based on support vector regression algorithm based on particle swarm optimization.Finally,the intelligent control method of dam filling process is applied based on a core rockfill dam in southwest China.The application results show that the intelligent control method of dam filling process can realize the intelligent control of dam filling process effectively,which provides new ideas and methods for the construction managers of dam filling process.(5)Based on the intelligent monitoring theory of core rockfill dam,combined with the dynamic optimization method of construction scheme,intelligent control method of material transportation process,and intelligent control method of dam filling process,the intelligent monitoring system of core rockfill dam is developed.The existing research on intelligent control of core wall rock fill dam is lack of systematic and complete intelligent monitoring method,which makes fails to achieve the timely,accurate and effective control of the construction process.In order to solve these problems,based on the intelligent monitoring theory of core rockfill dam,combined with the dynamic optimization method of construction scheme,intelligent control method of material transportation process,and intelligent control method of dam filling process,the intelligent monitoring system of core rockfill dam is developed.Firstly,the structure of the intelligent monitoring system of core rockfill dam is analyzed.Secondly,the construction technology and construction content of the intelligent monitoring system of core rockfill dam is described.Finally,the function of the intelligent monitoring system of core rockfill dam is introduced.The application results show that the intelligent monitoring system of core rockfill dam can realize the intelligent control of the whole construction process,which includes the construction scheme optimization process,material transportation process,and dam filling process.The intelligent monitoring system of core rockfill dam provides new ideas and methods for the construction managers of dam filling process,which make sure the construction process is controlled in time,so as to realize the construction goal of core rockfill dam.
