Gravel soil core wall is a common impervious body of rockfill dam.Effective control of compaction quality of gravel soil core wall is the key to ensure dam safety.Material source parameters and construction parameters are important factors affecting the compaction quality of gravel soil core wall.However,in the current research on the material source parameters and construction parameters of gravel soil core wall of rockfill dam,the material source parameters are limited to the gravel soil,and there is no study on the source of soil and stone.The study of construction parameters is not comprehensive,lack of important mixing parameters research,can not objectively and real-time evaluate the compaction quality of warehouse surface.In addition,the existing research has separated the whole construction process of the core wall of rock fill dam with gravel,and has not studied the whole construction process of the core wall with gravel soil.Therefore,in order to solve the above problems,based on the whole construction process of gravel soil core wall of rockfill dam,this paper uses the Bidirectional extreme learning machine(B-ELM)algorithm to construct the real-time evaluation model of compaction quality of gravel soil core wall of rockfill dam,and realizes the feedback control of material source parameters by using the evaluation of compaction quality.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)The research method of compaction quality based on the whole construction process of gravel soil core wall of rockfill dam is proposed.The method systematically analyzes the whole construction process and each construction link of the core wall with gravel soil in the rockfill dam,analyzes the acquisition method of the parameters in the whole construction process of the core wall of the rock fill dam,and analyzes the relationship between the parameters in the whole construction process of the core wall and the compaction quality evaluation index.In this method,the construction process of the core wall with gravel soil is considered as a whole,which reflects the integrity and continuity of the construction process.(2)Based on the whole construction process of gravel soil core wall of rockfill dam,the real-time evaluation of compaction quality of gravel soil core wall of rockfill dam is realized.The parameters with high correlation with the evaluation index of compaction quality are selected as the input parameters of the model,and the b-elm algorithm with stable structure and fast operation speed is selected to construct the realtime evaluation model of compaction quality.Compared with the compaction quality evaluation model of gravel soil source parameters,the model in this paper is consistent in accuracy and superior in robustness.Combined with the real-time monitoring system of construction quality of rockfill dam,the model in this paper is embedded into the system to realize the real-time evaluation of the compaction quality of the construction unit of the core wall with gravel soil.(3)The feedback control of material source parameters based on the evaluation of compaction quality is realized.Combined with the results of sensitivity analysis,using the real-time evaluation model of compaction quality of gravel soil core wall constructed in this paper,a theoretical method of feedback control of material source parameters based on the evaluation of compaction quality is proposed when the construction parameters are well controlled and the evaluation of compaction quality can not meet the engineering control standards.Combined with a rockfill dam with gravel soil core wall under construction in Southwest China,the compaction quality of gravel soil core wall of the rockfill dam can reach the engineering control standard by regulating the material source parameters.In addition,through the study of the feedback control method,the control range of important material source parameters is given,which provides theoretical and technical support for the on-site engineering management.
