According to the ICOM Statutes,adopted during the 21st General Conference in Vienna,Austria,in 2007:A museum is a non-profit,permanent institution in the service of society and its development,open to the public,which acquires,conserves,researches,communicates and exhibits the tangible and intangible heritage of humanity and its environment for the purposes of education,study and enjoyment.This paper is based on personal experience,trying to explore new methods to design the museum exhibition.We hope visitors can be participators and to encourage them joining the museum exhibition design in early stage by using gamified cooperative design method.Based on the nowadays museum experience,I cleared the purpose and significance of the topics.New museum exhibition method should not only can help museums to provide visitors new experience but also can promote the existing familiar experience.The final goal of this research is to develop a new co-design method with visitors and for visitors.The next section is the research of participatory experience,participatory design and museum experience.By studying the related topics and documents I will put out a open question about how visitors can be involved into museum exhibition design process.I studied those theories and refined these ideas to help me facing challenges.These challenges are all related to the question to be investigated in this paper.Later I will study some methods of participatory design and present some ideas of guiding visitors to participate in participatory museum experience.Then I will explain a real case for using gamified cooperative design method to encourage visitors as designers involved into the earlier museum exhibition design process.I will study the whole cooperative design process.In practice,I will get a lot of experience and ideas,which are resources for the research and study.The final results of the practice will be compared with the earlier study of cooperative design and co-design literature.In this part of paper,by studying of the results and new findings from the practice work for using the new method to do the cooperative design with gamified approach,I will make adjustments.A sound and well-designed guide for design a participatory museum experience with museum,exhibition design experts and visitors will be presented.Finally I will draw a conclusion for the research,and answer previous questions,I will discuss the outcomes and summarize the experience and knowledge have learnt.I will recap the whole research and think about the limitation of it then make a references for the future similar research activities.
