River ice phenomenon includes many forms,such as ice body formation,ice body evolution,ice body transport,ice accumulation,etc.The most notable feature of the river ice phenomenon is the Frequent ice dam.Spring temperatures are rising and warming.In this case,the river will thaw.The frozen ice will also break and the river will rise.Under the impact of high speed flow and ice,the construction of hydraulic structures is often destroyed,resulting in the national economic damage.In addition,this situation will also pose a threat to the lives and property security of the people living in the river.Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen the research on river ice phenomenon.One of the major goals of ice condition forecasts is to achieve real-time prediction of medium-term and short-term ice flood disaster.Ice thickness and temperature are physical indicators which are the most closely relationship with river-ice breakup and ice flood disaster in the forecast of inland river ice regime.According to Engineering requirement of winter ice thickness measurement,a ice thickness automatic thickness measurement system is designed.This system is a ice thickness sensor using electromagnetic and temperature principle.The electromagnetic part is mainly used by frequency domain electromagnetic.Principle.Meanwhile,The temperature part is mainly used by Temperature sensor device of DS18B20.The device was designed by ice detection research group of taiyuan university of technology.The basic principle of frequency domain electromagnetic method realizes functions of an electromagnetic field,the two electromagnetic separation,data acquisition and so on.At the same time,This system put forward eliminate the influence of primary field by using ellipticity.Experimental testing is done about current emission and data receiving part.The experimental results show the detection system can achieve the effect on the ice thickness and dissipation change detection according to the theoretical calculation data analysis.The temperature gradient detection system has realized automatic continuous measurement of ice thickness and temperature gradient in MoHe station along the Heilongjiang river.The MoHe station is under low temperature field conditions.The continuous observation data of ice thickness and temperature distribution in ice is obtained during the course of river ice formation.Meanwhile,the system can obtain the continuous observation data of ice thickness and ice temperature distribution in the course of river ice melting.Selecting ice thickness?temperature and other meteorological factors closely related to the break-up date of the river,the two mathematical forecast models of the upper reaches of the Heilongjiang river were established by using least square support vector machine and multiveariate statistical regression model.These models are used to forecast the break-up date from 2006 to 2015.Research results show that the forecast results keep broadly consistent with the actual ones in 2006–2015.The research helps resolve this medium-term and short-term forecasting dilemma of breakup of the interior rivers in cold highland.
