Environmental and resource issues have been vitally involved in Quaternary Geology,geological backgrounds and conditions(GBC)have deep restriction on the formation,evolution and utilization of regional ecological landscape.Researches on relations between GBC and vegetation(forest)have been greatly reported from disciplines like geobotany which proves that GBC has a driven effect on vegetation distribution and composition,that provide enlightenment and bases for plant geography and vegetation ecology.Seldom reported restirciton of GBC on colorful-leaf-forest-landscape(CLFL)for scientific forest landscape regulation to serve sustainable recreational industry.The CLFL in Guangwu Mountain in Qin-ba mountains has a high recreation value with a long geological history and complex geological constructure.Study on restriction of different GBC on CLFL provides key technologies for sustainable social development in Qin-ba mountains to enhance regional economyIntegrating multi-subjects theories such as geology,ecology,and recreation,following the main study line of “ restriction of GBC on CLFL”,based on data from forest category resources inventory and drawings of geology map,soil type map,and the field investigation data,by using GIS and spatial autocorrelation methods,the dissertation discusses restrictions of regional geological history,regional tectonics and GBC: lithology,soil,altitude and grade on distribution of CLFL,spatial autocorrelation of CLFL based on different GBC and CLFL zoning and utilization strategy.The main conclusions and achievements are summed up as following:(1)The main CLFL resources(red leaf landscape)in research area Guangwu Mountain include Fagus oriented CLFL,Quercus oriented CLFL,Betula oriented CLFL,Larix kaempferi oriented CLFL and is characterized with Fagus oriented CLFL which is different from other areas in China.In the long-term regional geological evolution and the new tectonic movement,Magmatic rocks,sedimentary rock and metamorphic rock are all distributed.Complicated lithology and unique landform provide appropriate environmental conditions for ancient plant Fagus and this area became one of the modern birthplaces and the modern distributive centers of Fagus.(2)The BGC lithology,soil type,altitude and grade in the area obviously affect CLFL distribution.The main CLFL types mostly distribute in sandy shale areas with an elevation of 1300-1900 m and a grade of 16°~35°.Fagus oriented CLFL is widespread around granite and other magmatic rocks.Betula oriented CLFL is widespread around all lithology but mostly the granite;Quercus oriented CLFL distribute mainly in sedimentary rock,sandstone and conglomerate rock.The best-GBC-area of CLFL is the best space where CLFL has the best geological conditions environment.1/3 of the main CLFL are found in this area.Lithology affects distribution of CLFL through topographic and geomorphic conditions and the physical and chemical characteristics of soil;landform restricts distribution of CLFL through hydrothermal conditions.(3)Spatial autocorrelation reveals spatial heterogeneity of CLFL diversity in different GBC and provide a basis for the natural zoning of CLFL.The characteristics of spatial autocorrelation of CLFL diversity in different GBC is: the CLFL diversity demonstrates a positive global spatial autocorrelation and has a powerful agglomeration in lithology,altitude and grade spaces while has no signi-ficant global spatial autocorrelation which is related the environment effects(biological effect).Most lithology,soil,altitude and grade space units shows a non-significant local spatial autocorrelation with a weak agglomeration.All the high-high types is in sheet distribution and low-low types,high-low types and low-high types distribute dispersedly.Under multi-BGC,the local Spatial autocorre-lation types high-high,low-low,high-low,low-high and non-significant types of CLFL diversity account for 2.04%、4.02%、14.62%、42.83%、36.48% of the total area respectively.The increasing area percentage of high-low,low-high tyeps shows there is a high spatial heterogeneity of CLFL diversity.The CLFL natural zoning on the basis of BGC is made up of protection-utilization zoning,tending-utilization zoning and reconstruction-untilization.protection-utilization zoning is located in Guang wu Mountain Senic Spots,that shows Spatial autocorrelation is a scientific methods for CLFL zoning to provide objective bases for its protection,utilization and regulation.(4)GBC has an obvious control CLFL utilization。Eco-sensitivity CLFL to GBC is high,2.63% of area is in very-high sensitivity and 29.96% is in high sensitivity.Recreation suitability to GBC is obvious.0.21% of area is in Very-suitability region,and 4.20% is in high-suitability,37.07% is in mid-suitability,50.70% is in low-suitability.All the four main CLFL types have an high Eco-sensitivity and(5)Based on the-best-GBC-area of CLFL,eco-sensitivity zoning and recrea tion suitability zoning based on GBC,each of the main four CLF distributionarea is divided into two regions which are core-utilization-region and develop ment-utilization-region and ten sub-regions which are very-high-sensitivity core-utilization-region,high sensitivity core-utilization-region,mid-sensitivity coreutilization-region,low-sensitivity core-utilization-area,zero-sensitivity core-utilization-area,very-high-sensitivity development-utilization-area,high-sensitivitydevelopment-utilization-area,mid-sensiti-vity development-utilization-area,low sensitivity devel-opment-utilization-area,zero sensitivity development-utilization-area.core-utilizat ion-region should use “protecton+tending” regulation model and ddevelopment-utilization-region should use “protection+construction”regulation model.Different regulation countermeasures and strategies should be used for each kind of CLFL according to the natural zoning and utilization zoning.
