Xu Xu And The French Romanticism Literature

This paper takes Xu Xu and the French romanticism literature as the research core to analyse the inner spiritual relationship and vision harmony between Xu Xu's creation and the French romanticism literature completely, also to study his extraordinary romanticism style which is formed from Chinese and Western Culture.The introduction states the present research on Xu Xu, and puts forward the research objects and techniques in this paper. The first chapter is “The inner spiritual relationship between the French romanticism culture and Xu Xu's creation”, which introduces the development, basic characteristics and cultural psychology of the French romanticism, together with the deep influence on Xu Xu. It discusses the basic framework of Xu Xu's cultural psychology and the feature of the romanticism spirit which pays attention to the mind, inner being and imagination. The French romanticism literature portrays unfamiliar exotic love which is mysterious and aesthetic. It reflects the mental feature of the writers' metaphysical depression and others. Totally, Xu Xu's novels show the misty artistic charm, pay attention to the heterogeneous imagination and mysterious absurdity. Also the tragic consciousness is permeated in them. At last, the epilogue sums up Xu Xu's acceptance and innovation from the French romanticism literature, summarizes and analyses Xu Xu's special artistic style, which is formed from Chinese and Western Culture.
