In the background of the international cultural heritage protection,know the value of the cultural heritage of China has also been gradually deepening,the result is a cultural heritage types continue to increase,and industry heritage is a new type of heritage among them.The research for modern industrial heritage in our country at present is still in the process of promoting "heritage".In recent years,more and more industrial heritage has received the attention of the society.But there is still a significant lag in the recognition of the modern industrial heritage after the founding of new China,especially for the Industrial projects in the first five years after the founding of new China.It is the beginning and foundation of modern industry in China.Its unique characteristics,historical value,social and cultural value and scientific and technological value need to be further recognized and excavated.In the rapid progress of urbanization and industrial transformation in China,some of the outstanding modern industrial heritage is facing severe challenges.Luoyang,located in the central plains of China,in thefive thousand years ofChinese history,had a long tradition of serving as the country's capital,and economic,cultural and transportation center.Luoyang is prestigious in historians' circles.The People's Republic of China was founded in 1949,and the governmentlaunched the first five-year plan from 1953 to 1957,which was a very important period of industrialization of China.During this period,the Soviet Union helped China with construction of 156 industrial projects;make China's heavy industries such as energy,machinery and raw materials take a big leap on the path of modernization.Six of the 156 projects were built in Luoyang,transforming the city into an industrial center and the largest machinery manufacturing base in Henan province.Associated with the projectswere a large number of new industrial and civil buildings with both the Soviet Union style and Chinese traditional architectural style.More than a half century later,with China's high-speed urban development transforming the city into aprocess,these buildings from the 1950 sare faced with the threat of demolition.From the perspective of industrial heritage and urban heritage preservation,these buildings need to be protected.Luoyang's Jianxi industrial zone was established in the aforementionedperiod.Its highly unified planning and the large number of remaining buildingsmade it one of the few important industrial heritage sites of the 1950 s in China.As a model of the new Chinese industrial heritage,the research of the 156 industrial heritage cluster in Luoyang has a high characteristic,which can lay the foundation for the research of the modern industrial heritage in China,and also can provide a reference for the comprehensive and in-depth study of modern industrial heritage in China.This paper first reviews the history of Luoyang as a new industrial city in the 1950's and the history of the construction of 156 projects in Luoyang.It analyzes the composition and status quo of the modern industrial heritage in Jianxi,Luoyang.From the perspective of industrial heritage,this paper promotes the recognition of the 156 industrial heritage cluster of Luoyang,and carries on the exploration of the whole protection and reuse of industrial heritage in Luoyang.This paper uses the "guidelines for evaluation of China Industrial Heritage(Trial)" for the 156 Luoyang period of the industrial heritage cluster to assess the value of overall.From the perspective of urban heritage protection and urban culture construction,this paper studies the differences between the results of theoretical research and the status quo,and studies the integrity and the outstanding value of the "industrial heritage cluster",and reveals the mistakes and problems of the protection and reuse of the industrial heritage in Luoyang in the 1950's.
