Inestigation On Tianjin's Modern Autonomous Industrial Heritage

The world's industrial heritage has become a subject with "significant learning" trend along with the coming of post-industrial era. In the seventh declaration of the national cultural heritage,industrial heritage has become the protagonist, following ancient tombs, ancient buildings and cave temples as one of important heritage type.However, in terms of industrial history, the history of technology or industrial estate valuation, it is still in the ascendant. A systematic research is required for the meaning and the various value of the Industrial heritage , whether we want to do urban renewal or protection of national cultural heritage. It is said that " the protection of Industrial sites requires a comprehensive knowledge, including the purpose and utility of construction at the time, and a variety of production processes, etc."in the file Nizhny Tagil Charter on the industrial heritage . It is the turning point of the article. It takes industrial heritage of Tianjin and surrounding areas which is the China's modern industry pioneer as the object of study, trying to do some research of industrial heritage from a variety of subjects such as History, sociology, archaeology, city planning, etc. In order to clarify the relationship between Industrial heritage and Industrial type, it draw lessons from research findings of military science, chemistry, education, national cultural heritage conservation planning, historic character area protection rules and so on. Finally, I try to find if it is possible and real to build a complete and independence for system industrial heritage protection.This article start with historical research of various periods of industrial development in Tianjin, then select the typical industrial of each period to do an in-depth analysis, including history, location, structure, building function, structure, style characteristics, production technology, management, training and so on,which involves all kinds of aspects of industrial heritage.In theoretical research, I choose heritage values, which is the core of cultural heritage protection, as the key point. In order to discussion the methods of value assessment for Industrial Heritage, I discuss assessment requirements of heritage value and social value, according to the compiling requirements of National cultural heritage protection requirements. I also discuss world heritage assessment of outstanding universal value and different family combinations of industrial heritage"group" from the perspective of family Nominations. And finally, I bring forward the ultimate goal of industrial heritage protection-the "creative city."In the case studies, I do some conservation research of two kinds of industrial heritage with different values and different types, and then discuss how to construct the balance between city renewal and industrial heritage protection to provide a reference for industrial heritage protection cases.
