Life And Enlightenment

In the complicated era of the 19th and 20th centuries,in the face of the modernity of the times,and the division of humanism,the repression of human nature,Tagore's thinking and understanding always face the fundamental problem of life:sadness and joy,especially the tragic circumstances,such as death and pain.He upholds the humanism as the core of the concept of enlightenment,by virtue of the East,especially India's profound religious,philosophical and aesthetic tradition,provides a life and the unverse of integral and comprehensive view.In the form of a unique experience and enlightenment,at the metaphysical level,he reintegrated himself with God,man and nature,and established the homogeneity and unity between the three,and gave us the ancient and new concept of life and conciousness in this world.Personality is an inner self-conciousness(inner spirit).The nature of the self-consciousness is based on the feeling as the interface to the outside world,based on the complete understanding of the rationality,and beyond it,with love as the medium,through the aesthetic pleasure to the inner unity.Among them,he always adhere to two points:First,self-experience,self-thinking,self-choice.He believes that everyone has a rational self-evident,and has been committed to this individualist enlightenment.Second,the basic principle of life is love.Love is the driving force of life,but also the ultimate destination of life.The growth of individual life eventually resonates with other lives and realizes the cohesion of lives under the power of love.Personality reflected in human nature is to keep unlimited expansion in the limited;the performance in life,is to constantly realize the beauty and the joy in action.The realization of the infinite spirit,or the same spirit of the universe of enlightenment,is the human mission lies,but also a need to enhance human through the ability to cultivate.Aesthetics and Art are spontaneous generation on the basis of personality,and is a kind of expression that is conciously carried out to cultivate personality.Art is the overflow of personality,the purpose is to express the sense of self-existence.This self contains the combination of man and the world;it is our spiritual life,and art is the spiritual life of the show.In the metaphysical level,the personality is expressed in the "maternal spirit" of the national ideal and the oriental spirit of civilized ideals.Tagore's idea of the universe,life and consciousness is not his own fantasy,and he will carry out his personal experience and concrete work on the real social problems of India,on the participation and observation of Indian nationalism,and the cultural relationship between western civilization and eastern civilization.However,in the era,he was located in the economic,scientific and technological development by the capitalist industrial production in order to improve material productive forces,and the political competetion,anti-colonialism,nationalism.For the majority of Eastern countries including India,all the above are the most urgent demands.So Tagore's emphasis on the existence of integrity and the personality of life,for the development of high level self-awareness of the first heavy,was submerged in the hustle and bustle of the quarrel and struggle of passion.However,Tagore's fear came true in the independent colonial world:the world is broken,the colonial state after independence showed chaotic and stagnant development.In the face of this situation,Tagore's view on the sound growth of human nature is significant.
