An Ethical Study Of Capital Space

Generally, space refers to the physical space. However, space not only has the practical function, but also conveys specific political, economic, and cultural implication (such as the Imperial Palace and Tiananmen). The spatial structure reflects the power structure. Therefore, the social space is the space which contains social relations. The capital, not only refers to the material production factors of funds resources. It should include two categories: the capital as a factor of production and the capital as social relations. The latter regards the former as the "space carrier",which realizes capital proliferation and the reproduction of space alienation relationship. At the same time, power relationship of capital has produced in the process of production of space. Therefore,the capital space is defined as the space of power relations for the purpose of unlimited proliferation. In order to criticize the phenomenon of spatial injustice which cause by capital and power, the concept of capital space is put forward, revealing the fact that the space of the capital has becoming the tool of enslavement of the capitalist.Firstly, on the one hand,the paper describes the concepts of the space, capital and capital space. It reviews the traditional concept of space and spatial turn, putting forward the concept of social space. Through the rational analysis of the relationship beyond space, place and territory, generalized social space (the space contain social relations, including place and territory) and narrow social space (space of power relations, territory) can be distinguished. On the other hand, it is pointed out that capital is the value of unlimited proliferation, containing the relationship of alienation and power, and the movement and accumulation process of capital contains extensity.Therefore, the capital space should belong to the narrow social space. The concept of capital space summarized as the power relations of space for infinite proliferation(territory). Then, the paper introduced the research paths, the production process and the characteristics of capital space. Finally, the theory of unbalanced development of capital caused by the production of space is discussed. Thus, based on the new comprehensive context, the basic theory system of capital space can be constructed.The second chapter discusses the ethical connotation of capital space.Article in this paragraph reveals the capital space's "value neutrality" is illusion,pointing out that capital is not a moral free space, but contains a rich connotation of values, it not only deprives people of the rational criticism also caused a series of ethical dilemmas in capital space. Then, there is the study of virtue and human during capital space's morphology evolution process. Then,according to the daily life in the space without justice and injustice in the production of space, the problem of justice capital space is discussed. Then,it discussed the phenomenon of human's spatial rigid,fragmentation and capital during the development of capital space. Finally, in order to sort out the space theories related to capital space of Foucault, Lefebvre, Custer, Harvey.Undertake the above theoretical analysis, theory with practice, from the perspective of experience, examines the social practice in the process of capital expansion of the space form and its ethical criticism. Firstly, combined with the analysis model of spatial economics, three expansion forms of capital space could be interpreted. Resilience space came from the category of resilience city, this paper will expand the meaning of resilience space to ethics category, which is summarized as soft space between capital space and human's space.Besides, the ethical evaluation indexes are described. Finally, the article discusses the ethical issues in the capital space. On the one hand,we should re-establish the spatial economic values. On the other hand, in the city public space and urban planning, two dimensions of the ethical concern and system control should be introduced, so as to ensure the organic integration of human and space.
