The Theme Research Of The Landscape Painting Of The Five Dynasties And Song

Digital method has been widely used in researches and applications in the field of text mining.The current study initiated a new research approach which uses digital technology to Analysis Five dynasties and Song landscape paintings by themes.It explores the possibility of integrating image annotation technology with textual analysis method.In total,there are over 1200 hanging and hand scroll landscape paintings from Five dynasties to Song which have been recorded in various painting histories,theories,and historical documentaries.The selected paintings represent over 30 categories of motifs,such as Snowy Scene,Wintry Forests,Dwellings in Autumnal Mountains,The Mountain and Stream and etc.The image capture technology is used on paintings with two easily recognizable motifs ‘Wintry Forests',‘Snowy Scene' and ‘fisherman',84 out of 271 document recorded paintings were selected.The experiment was carried out in several steps: the first step is to construct a semantic network with feature words extracted from the motif information,thematic content and semantic direction of the paintings;the second step will construct a semantic network with feature words extracted from the motif information,thematic content and scenario settings of the paintings;finally,based on the cross-references of the image analysis and text mining,it attempts to establish a Full Image Information Retrieval Database for landscape paintings and related descriptions.The themes Information Model makes three collateral studies possible: 1.Through themes classify of methods,Themes classify methods can help us observes the themes evolution of paintings in a time series of dynasty changes;2.By using themes statistical,the purpose is to observes the similarity and variation of the analytical objects,in this case,the selected local images which can represent stylistic changes in paintings;3.By comparing the results of text mining and GIS semantic layering technology,Social network analysis primarily emphasizes on the relationship among artists and collectors In a painting or in a series of paintings.
