Research On The Theme Of "fishing And Hiding" In Landscape Paintings Of Song And Yuan Dynasties

“Hermit” is a unique cultural phenomenon in ancient Chinese landscape painting,historically,it should be included in Chinese traditional culture.Hermit culture is not a single idea,it integrates many ideas and it is a very important cultural phenomenon in the ancient history of ideas.Hermit's thought is kind of seclusion,they are tired of their social environment and expect to seek peace of mind by the way of seclusion.As the unworldly and unhurried life of the fishermen were almost same as the quiet life they wish,so people like to use the image of fisherman to express their feelings of seclusion.Then what kind of seclusion did the Song and Yuan want to express behind the fishermen?A lot of previous materials have studied separately on the reclusive thought and the image of the fishermen.The combination studies of the two point is very poor.This paper is based on the background life of painters in the dynasties of Song and Yuan to explore the hermit thoughts through the images of fishermen in their paintings.It mainly divided into four chapters.The first chapter mainly describes the origin of the fishermen and his development in the history of landscape painting.The second chapter mainly describes the image of the fishermen in Song dynasty and the hermit thoughts under the fishermen.The third chapter mainly describes the fishermen and the expression of hermit thought in Yuan dynasty.In the fourth chapter,It mainly summarized,compared and changed the hermit thoughts in Song and Yuan dynasties.The style of landscape painting in the Northern Song dynasty is realistic somewhat,and the landscape painting in this period is mainly based on reproduction.Therefore,the fishermen is just a figure with a point view at this time in the landscape painting.The Southern Song dynasty was a transitional period of landscape painting style from realistic to poetic.The fishermen in this period had already had a preliminary idea of seclusion,and the Yuan dynasty was an period of “all the people are hermit”.Because of the special historical environment,the people in the Yuan dynasty has a basic reclusion feelings,some scholars are even far away from the secular,they are choose seclusion directly in the mountains so you can feel their own reclusion feeling in their painting creation,they also like to use of fishermen to metaphor themselves.Therefore,many of the fishermen in the landscape paintings of the Yuan dynasty are the embodiment of painters,which contains the feelings of seclusion.
